Great review, they look like they’d be a fine replacement for my ancient Oakley dispatch photochromic prescription glasses I’ve had for many years and which have been a lifesaver many times. Just ordered some bolle glasses from England, saw your review just too late. Never mind, let’s see how the Bollés go. We’re over in Dublin for a long weekend next month, watch out for me jogging about 👍
I made a video which you may have seen about places I run in Dublin...I will link it, but if you need any help or guidance before or during your stay just drop me an email....address in the description. Safe travels! ruclips.net/video/c5JE4ptYDbw/видео.html
Last week, i was very smug and thought this vlog wasn't relevant to me Barry. On today's run i realised i will need an optometrist to check my eyes again... i might be coming back to this review very soon : - )
Very comprehensive review of these sunglasses (I also saw your review of the Rydons). I have a similar prescription as you, also with astigmatism. Used to wear contacts but with age gave up on them. Last couple of years also had the Rydon with the optical clip. They were ok but I was not that happy with them...too heavy/big for my face. I'd rather get my next pair without the clip....did you have a look at their Inkas Flip Up model?
Thanks for the review Barry , I actually got my Rudy project glasses based off your first review as I am blind as a bat after 25 years in IT, these wont be for me (not a fan of the 70's style big glasses ) , though I do like the general original Ray ban shape to the frames. I am all for choice and this does allow me more options when the next prescription is required down the road .
I forgot my regular glasses and went to work in these yesterday...had to keep explaining to people why I was wearing them...wheres in my Rydon Running ones nobody seems to notice them...
Very interesting and informative Barry thanks..I’m interested in them for lots of uses and will keep this in mind..thanks
Thanks! I really enjoyed making this video… the sunshine helps!

Hope it goes well with the optometrist…I used daily disposable contacts for years… really work if you have a low prescription

I haven’t tried the flip up model. I like the way my originals react to the light…I think I would feel self conscious in flip ups…
@@OldManRunner haha yes I can understand that...I would remove that part, though not sure how easy/practical that would be on a daily basis.
