I only get to play a couple of hours a week and I'm only level 47 on Platinum 2 just now. What is weird, and you MIGHT be able to asnwer for me, is the 'Rank Protected' thing. I had been consistently hitting top 15 for a while, then I got spawn killed really quickly two or three times in a row. I think I was about 75% of the way towards Platinum 3? Anyway, instead of losing ranking - a big 'Rank Protected' thing appears. What does that mean? How does that work? Great video by the way. I enjoyed it. Good tips! ;)

my main problem is sensitivity. i used a shared console so i cant change it and it makes it difficult to place builds in mid/endgame what do you recommend? oh also how do i avoid getting constantly headshot sniped in mid/end game?

Yes the consistency bonus works the same in higher and lower ranks I did a full video breaking down the whole ranked system recently so give it a watch if you want to learn more about it I go super advanced into it!! But yeah consistency bonus is massive part of escaping higher ranks so it's super important especially when your pushing towards champion and elite that your super consistent if you want to maximize your points!!
It’s all good stick bro loads of people are stuck in plat I think plat has the highest percentage of players atm bro I hope you found it useful!! Some great tips to help you through diamond beyond as well!!

The way I see mid-game is if you have really bad loot like there is no chance you can win the game with your loot maybe you have no spare shield or you just have bad loot in general you should w-key because if you die mid-game you save time on a game that you wasn't going to win anyways but if you win the fight you should hopefully have the loot to win the game then!! Once you have good loot just play for the win!! I hope this helps thank you for the comment!

If your no1 goal is to just get out of plat rank and rank up quicker best thing to do is literally play for end game and get all your kills late on personally for me that would be really boring but if all I wanted to do was rank up that's what I would do as that's the best way to do it!!

Ouchhhh if you watch my video on the How The Fortnite Ranked System Works! I break down why that happens but to sum it quickly it's because of consistency the more you die off spawn the more points you lose the more consistent you are in your games so the higher placement and more kills the less you lose off spawn I go into full detail about that in my other video though definitely give it a watch and drop a comment under that afterwards and I'll look out for it Gaming!!

That’s not even a bad thing Jupiter bro!! If you kill those players in the higher ranks than you then you will gain a massive boost of points it obviously just makes them lower ranks a little bit harder!! Thank you for the comment Jupiter bro I hope you found the video helpful!!
Am gonna give you my advice. First only play solo or duo to fet more points and lose less. Land at a remote place with nobody, farm, loot and chill there, keep shockwave to run away from fights when you are about to die, try to damage enemies who are fighting to get points for assist if the guy you touched got killed, wait until top 10 to be more agressive looking for killed and also more assist as endgame give more points. Also when boxing when somebody is attack you, don't panik and think, try to edit a wall, just do a circle with your thumb to easily make an opening then either make a second box or make a longer base to maybe try to fight back or to heal to try to run away. When boxing in endgame make one in either brick or even better metal as people are less likely to try to enter your base on metal as they are scared that you can edit to kill them by the time it take to break a wall, and don't put a ceiling and a cone only a cone so that when you go on edit you can easily see what's going on outside to also see if you can have a kill. As you are plat you can also play duo to have better help.
