Chad’s voice has changed over the years but it always sounds amazing and it’s impressive how after all that he’s been through with vocal surgery he still has that grit in his voice. Many singers similar to him have lost the rasp in their voice after a while but not Chad. He’s by far my favorite singer ever 🤘
I thought for a while that his voice isn't what it used to be. However, seeing him perform Animals on this same channel shows he still got it. Even in their more recent song San Quentin, he's got the classic overdrive and rasp we first fell in love with. I wonder why he doesn't use it as often.
Nickelback is right up there with 311 when it comes to band mortality. Sure Chad sounds a lot different than he used to but he still kills it. Wish I would have seen this band multiple times in the past but I was too young.....
Why are they deemed so unworthy of being a 'rock' band? They are tight as hell!
Yeah unlike Linkin Park now, they still have that passion in music in them.

No most singers would have given up. Especially with the vocal range Chad has. Total respect for him. I struggle when I'm bad with my asthma to get ranges. So god knows how he did it. still think ryan can double for Chris pratt. ty 4 replying made my day

Sam J When I was at a show once he said his “secret” for his scratch voice was olive oil and water (if I remember right, been 11+ years) lol anyway something to that effect. Wonder if that helped cause a cyst?

The reasons why Nickelback is Hated:
Nickelback is Hated cause they are just dull. Tired ideas, tired songs, their first two hits were almost identical,The Canadian group relies on tried-and-true soft rock tropes and rarely attempt to play anything innovative, sticking with what will reliably get radio play, Nickelback for being inauthentic, faking their way through uninspired, uncool post-grunge for purely commercial purposes, All their songs sound the same, It's generic. Bland. Cheesy. Overdone.
So those are the reasons why Nickelback is Hated
And BTW I still love NB even though their songs sound the same,or their Generic,Boring ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
