Fortunately I live the other side of the Atlantic now. The 1994 quake was my limit of endurance. There was no help. However this app they speak of seems either bogus or ineffectual. 45 seconds is NO TIME at all to prepare especially a major quake. Also even if they lower the limit to 3.0 what is the point? Unless it tells you that it will be 5, 6, 7 or 8 on the Richter Scale there is no point. Especially with 45 seconds. And let us face facts people, unless you have your own helicopter on the roof or garden of your home there is no escape. In an emergency there will be no possibility to evacuate a megalopolis like LA and if everything west of San Andreas as predicted starts to sink into the ocean or there is a 1000 foot wall of water you are done.
