But my question is do i need to touch the diamond ♦️ key frame where i want it to zoom an use my hand as well

Once you place the first keyframe where you want your zoom to start, the next thing to do is move your cursor to a certain extent then zoom-in with your fingers, the diamond automatically appears.
Just have in mind that the first keyframe is =where you want the zoom in to start
Second keyframe =how zoomed in you want the effect to be.
