This song is perfect for the "Celebrate diversity" tagline of this year. Joci Papai is Roma, the poorest and most routinely oppressed minority in Europe. The song is about the struggles of the Roma, being born a wanderer without a nation, and a girl leaving him because of his skin and eye colour.

I'm so happy the public so how magnificent this song was!! Shame that the Jury underrated it so much. Joci gave a voice to an underrepresented group of people. He honoured his Hungarian heritage, not singing in English and really mastering the combination of ethnic, traditional instrumentation and dance with the modern style of singing and rap. Really a masterpiece, 8th is really an honourable position!!

One of the most emotional songs I have ever heard!!!! Congrats from Poland Hungarian Brothers 2020!!!
One of the most beautiful songs in eurovision ❤️🥹
thank you the Televote to save this amazing song 😍😍😍
Jerry ESC especially for Croatia's 12 points and Serbia's 12 points❤️❤️❤️❤️
HUN Eurovision Yes it's true Fortunately 😁 You were my 4th place 😍😍😍
HUN Eurovision I am so happy we in Serbia gave 12 to Hungary :)
it was 10
Mátyás Szabó
10 points from jury
12 from public ;)
This song is perfect for the "Celebrate diversity" tagline of this year. Joci Papai is Roma, the poorest and most routinely oppressed minority in Europe. The song is about the struggles of the Roma, being born a wanderer without a nation, and a girl leaving him because of his skin and eye colour.
I agree with you Jack Fisher. How jury didn't appreciate this?
Jack Fisher it is țigan no roma, Roma is a city and all gipsys are from India.
RO patriot Zi sa mori Tu?!
Who's coming back just to look that he is actually in the final just because that's where he needs to be for both songs?
He's actually the best to me! 12 points from Ukraine
Anton AAA I agree...in my list it was the best both with Bulgaria
Thanks for the Ukrainian points too! :) You gave 8 jury and 4 televoting points to us :)
It's his own languages. It's very brave 🙌
and again we saw how cruel european juries are. one of the best performances. definitely deserved a better place. but at least it's a huge place in our hearts. bravo hungary, greetings from 🇹🇷💕
Wow!
What a pure emotions!
Proud of voted for it!

One of my favorite eurosongs, emotional, catchy...coming every year to remember it!
Poland is very proud because of you Hungary. Great job! Best wishes from Polish brethren :)
Am I the only one who thinks it's just PERFECT ?
P.S. This is Diversity this year !!
it is my winner. I don't care Portugal
Maria Dyukova My winner of the Contest, too!
this is amazing! It deserved the victory for sure, the ethnic sounds gave some special meaning to the song
Indeed
not only you
still one of the best non-english song in the eurovision!!! thank you for this masterpeice Joci!
finally one country who sings in his own linguage!!! I love this song, compliments!!!! Greetings from Italy :)
This was beautiful, a strong message, ethnic sounds, beautiful staging, amazing voice (although this is TRULY not his full potential, he has some other more amazing songs than this) , violin sounds, ethnic beautiful gypsy dance. This was simply BEAUTIFUL! I don't understand a single damn word of what he is saying, yet this sounds so pleasing and amazing! Yet another proof all countries should sing in their native language. Hungarian is so hard to learn , yet so melodic and beautiful! Thank GOD this was saved by the televotes. Congratulations, hungarian brothers! A masterpiece!
Lots of love from Romania.
Definitely, for next ESC and then, WE NEED more presentations like this!!
People who shows about their country!
So lovely, even now so many months later, I can't stop listening this song!! It is PRETTY GOOD!!
Greetings from PERU!
Can’t wait to see you back again this year! Still my favourite ESC entry! ❤️
I'm also really happy, he's back! I love Origo till today as well
Beside „Samurai“ didn‘t understand one fuckin word.. but the pain, disapointment, revenge, love.. al emotions are delivered through this magnificent song which should have won
I'm excited to see him again! Back in 2017, my friends and i were chearing for this song, and singing along 😂😂 Love from Serbia!!
@@Mila99411 I liked origo better than this new song (this title is too difficult for me) but the new one was also really great and i think, he deserved final :( he could have made it IMO. i wouldn't mind if he was in final. maybe not 8th place like with origo but top 15 - top 20... (because it was really really strong contest)
I am Hungarian and I am obsessed with this song🥰 I don’t understand. Why didnt win Hungary 1 Eurovison? Like 2017 2014 or 2013🥺
Its good to see that, Hungary get so much love from the comments so i am so proud and thankful🥰💞
Im still thinking about this beautiful song, once of my fav esc songs ever

Just read this song's lyrics in an English translation and... damn, they are so powerful and his live performance made people feel it. Maybe the best Hungarian entry ever. Peace and Big UP from Romania!
This should have won. I still play this regularly.
Same here. And im dutch. Love it
@@nijo6480hier ook!
Samee! From 🇹🇷
And why on Earth didn't Europe let him in the finals in 2019...
Good question.. i loved his song
Because this song was nice and the 2019 was not as good as this one. Simple.
The finals didn’t happen yet.
@@rafnaegels8913 no, what he/she meant is he didn't make it to the finals.
@@Lpsuchtix3 Still much better than San Marino and Malta tho
The true winner of ESC. Great song, greetings from Italy

How can anyone dislike this masterpiece? LOVE FROM GREECE, this sh*it gave me goosebumps
I'm not against English speaking, but I prefer that every use the mother tongue in this competition!
I'm from Switzerland but my parents are Hungarian and Italian, so I say use your language aren't afraid!
Yes I speak German swiss German better Italian Hungarian, but no only!

eurovision 2021: 4 songs out of the top 5 are sang in native languages
Poland loves you brothers! :))))
Stephanie Gross love from hungary
love from Hungary :)
Hungary loves you too. Thanks for the support. :)
Stephanie Gross really sad for poland
I send 5 sms. Joci was the best today! And now it's my favorite eurovision preformance next to Carl Espen. It's amazing!
Amazing Hungary with amazing language❤🇦🇿🇭🇺❤
2022 still loving it!! Big shout-out from Serbia!!!
Hungary left me speechless with this song! It totally shook me emotionally! I love watching ESC fro finding this kind of beauties. After Serbia's ''Molitva'' this is the only song that has touched me so hard! Everything is so well blended to this one:music, lyrics, stage performance. Watching this one I get the feeling I'm reading a very interesting novel. The guy is so powerful/girls are amazing, especially the dancer who reminds me of a beautiful butterfly fluttering around. This song and performance will always be remembered after many, many, many years! So damn cool! Great job! Greetings from Georgia!
Eka Archvadze Molitva was amazing! I agree !
I totally agree. the song is beautiful, and I love that he doesn't sing in english.
Eka Archvadze I couldn't agree more with this comment. This was the only song this year that without understanding a word of what he's saying, I felt a strong connection with it. 12 points to Hungary from Latin America. My Favorite song 2017. BRAVO HUNGRÍA!!!
Still stand by the point that this is probably one of the best ESC songs of all time
There will never be a song close to this one.
So mystic, modern, artistic, powerfull, ethnic, and with incredible lyrics and staging.Period.
Proud to be Hungarian! :)
Vote for Hungary tonight!!!
I did not expect so good performance. To my hungarian brothers - you can be proud of Joci!! With love from Poland! :)
Still my favourite from 2017. Excellent performance. Love from Croatia
Thank you, very well said! :)
I'm Portuguese and of course I'm very happy to won. Nonetheless, this song is my favourite! It is so beautiful... So much emotion on the song. Fantastic! ❤
Still the best song to have been on eurovision imo🤌🏻
