When it comes to phones and cameras I just have a bias towards Samsung like Samsung can do no wrong in my eye. I'm not saying iPhones are bad but when it comes to preference, I prefer the Samsung s23 ultra in this camera comparison
Of course you wouldn’t say iPhones are bad bcos they have better cameras. Whether you like Samsung cameras
I truly wish the Ultra was smaller, like its just a beast to carry and hold and the corners are uncomfortable, but the camera is way better than iPhone and I love the pen.

You can add a portrait effect on the S23 Plus. You pressed the little edit icon, but the three dots on the right side of the phone are where you do it in the photo app. I have it on my S23. Just a little tip. I'm sure you're also aware of the upcoming One UI 6 update which you should be getting next week so expect some changes to the camera/gallery experience.

@@Moyaiville_Productions When I got there I could see Face effects, Object eraser, Spot color, Style, and Color mix. Is the portrait function under one of those?
@@danielsin It's the other 3 dots that's not in the edit icon. It's the 3 dots next to the trash button on the right in the gallery when you view an image. I definitely think they should fix the edit portrait placement as most people press the edit icon to edit their photos.
@@Moyaiville_Productions ah I see it now. When I pressed it, it doesn’t recognize a face. Yeah that was pretty confusing. Def need to change the placement lol
for the galaxy you just have to do some tweaking but then you have stunning pictures, the iphone comes ready out the box which is nice since it cuts all the hassle and the pictures are more than usable.
When comparing the two it should be considered that the S23 is almost 600$less then the iPhone. Taking that into account the Samsung is the clear winner.
Bro you should turn off scene optimiser and other post processing options in s23 plus..then I can assure you will get as natural as Iphone..bcz I am a s23plus user

On S23U you can turn your regular photo to portrait afterwards, this feature was actually available before iPhone. But Apple has sold this feature as a huge deal, and all "so called youtubers" should at least know it.

Can this comparison be applied to a s22/s22 plus, since they have the same rear camera sensors as the s23, despite the selfie camera being different ?
basically yes, maybe except at night, as there is a significant difference when there is very bad light
After the last update, now Samsung's camera sucks. If you want to take good quality pictures you have to choose 50MP but then when you take picture and open that picture in gallery it automatically adjusts everything and picture moves to seconds later after it got taken (for example, if you took someone's nice picture and you see everything is ok, person's eyes are open, etc, but then when you go to gallery to check that picture, it takes few seconds to adjust it and then you see person's eyes went close, cause it automatically adjusted picture to seconds later one) and it also adds excessive saturation. Then you have to switch to 12MP which is already bad quality. I hope they'll fix their issue with cameras, otherwise I'll completely move to iphone.
Thus great video as usual. I really love your style but you at times move the pictures too fast. Keep it up. Don't change your style.
Can you now compare the xiaomi 13 ultra and the iPhone 15 Promax?
I'm still using the galaxy note 20 ultra from 2020 and I want to upgrade this November but I'm in a tussle as what to buy between the iPhone 15 Promax, xiaomi 13 ultra and galaxy s23 ultra. Can you help me make a choice?

Samsung has the option of adding protrait mode it's there before clicking the editing button and it's there from the galaxy s10 and above but then you don't know how to apply ut so don't say it doesn't have
The fact that the ip15p has the same camera system as the ip15pm (the pro model), and the S23Plus has the same as the S23 (the low model) so ip15p/15pm vs S23u and ip15/15p vs S23/S23p would be more fair
On a market s23+ cost around 800 $ iphone 15 pro 1400 soooo......
Bro portrait after shot is from s21 series you don't know where it is , so don't judge.
You can easily swipe up the pictures then you can see the options, learn about your phones then judge.!!!

How you take such a good photos with s23, because mine are worse than iPhone 14 pro.
While I take photos with S23 they are oversharped or too noisy.
I am talking about point and shoot style. iPhone or Google Pixel way better, imho.

You should get the S10 plus it has more lenses more reliable video on s10 plus but if you’re a photo lover then the pixel 5 is better but if you think all over the S10 plus will be my preferred choice🖤🖤

I think s23 plus did pretty well against iphone
1:26 - on the left photo you stand on the right from the tree and on right you stand on the left. That's why there is a blurry noise. Just stand accurate the same place to give us true result.
The sensors on S23+ are too old and small...that's why it over-sharpenes the photo to look better...

Samsung has always over sharpened their photos. They are king when it comes to over processing pics.
iphone usually bumps up iso much more then other manufacturers to not get ghosting, interesting still to see snapsung have more noise (still not knowing the iso).
Paying 2000 dollars for an iPhone e and get those lens flares... year after year when others solve it pretty much, yeah.
The flares are pretty annoying. But not as bad as the telephoto on the pixel 8 pro lol
