Christmas has come early I can’t stop playing this beautiful song
In the first published Lucy/Martha duet, I noticed that little Martha (in pigtails) was apparently wearing the same lipstick he big sister was wearing - a treat for an eleven-year old! Now Martha, at 14, is beginning to bloom. She is even wearing and off-shoulder, grown-up dress like her big sister - another treat, I imagine.
Their performance, as we might expect, is off the charts. The affectionate look and grin in the end is priceless.
Martha may be, figuratively, playing second fiddle to her big sister in their duets, but you can hear that she has all the vocal qualities Lucy has, only 5 years behind in development. She DOES have the special quality Lucy's voice has, but it is still on the back burner. She is, by all accounts, horse-mad, and might not even want to enter the cut-throat career of top-level music.
Lucy has also just released a cover of A whiter shade of pale.
Lucy somehow gets even better with each new video. You’ll see when you get around to A Whiter Shade of Pale that just dropped yesterday and already has over 150,000 views.
The most powerful and most beautiful Christmas song I have ever heard. I am tempted to say that it doesn't get better than this but I would be wrong. Lucy and Martha seem to have this limitless capacity for musical growth and will undoubtedly release performances that are even more stunning than this. What Lucy and Martha can accomplish together is absolutely incredible. The Thomas sisters are truly in a class of their own.

I’ve listened to Dolly , pentatonix ,and liked them both but have to say this version with Lucy n Martha blows them away. And it’s true if you listen a couple of times , you realize just how brilliant they sound!
Don't worry about the girls especially Lucy who is 100% committed to being a vocalist,Lucy is so well grounded,her family & production company also know what they are doing!,Chris Broom knows he has unearthed a Gem & will look after her!,Lucy has just released 'A whiter shade of pale',I was a little worried as regards to how she would approach this song,but as usual it's spot on,Lucy's lower register shines through!, the more you listen the better it gets!😀💖

Great reaction as always. Lucky enough to be going to see Lucy live at Stoller Hall, Manchester, in March. Best to go now, I suspect in 5 years you’ll need a small mortgage to pay for the tickets.

It will not be possible to top this. Martha's voice is getting better with every outing. And Lucy really unleashed the power like we know she can. Well done Chris. You’ve got to be really on the ball to keep up with what is happening in the Lucy Thomas space right now. Her management team can feel and see the momentum building and they are upping the ante for our mutual benefit. 2024 will be the year that Lucy Thomas, ably assisted by Martha and others, will ascend to her rightful place in the highest echelons of global vocal talent. She has earned this recognition. Her talent and demeanour demand it.
@@wilburfinnigan2142 Martha deserves greater recognition than she is getting. She is an inspiring and impressive young lady. Her support of her older sister speaks volumes for her love and commitment to her family. That she is also pursuing her own additional passion of equestrian sports only adds to her appeal. I am working on a tribute post for her when I feel the time is right.
I appreciate this because I think Martha is wonderful and it cannot be easy to sing with Lucy yet Martha does it with grace and maturity, in fact when I listened to Lucy on the voice kids , Martha looks more mature is age than Lucy did at 13,14@@wilburfinnigan2142

This was truly magical, and Martha’s voice is maturing so well. 2024 will be a good year for Lucy with her first live concert in Manchester UK in March followed by the musical Rosie in the autumn. I really hope Martha sings with Lucy at the concert 🥰

surely someone is going to wake the hell up and put these girls on a big show...... We have the Royal Variety Performance each year over in the UK, supposedly a celebration of global talent...it was imho, dire. Lucy and Martha would have put it on another level altogether.
Hi Steve, my brother in-law is a major contributor to the Guiting Power music festival which is a great venue not too far from her home. I have recommended Lucy and sent a few videos with no luck. Grrrr

Larry this song Mary Did You Know has had over 345,000 views in just 11 days, Christian groups have released this song on RUclips, the sister's are truly amazing this song is the best duet they have ever done it's so good. Lucy has just released her cover of "A Whiter Shade Of Pale " which she sings in her lower voice it's quite remarkable. Happy New Year Barbara.

Nice reaction. The Pentatonix version of this is awesome and the best song Pentatonix have done. It’s been the ultimate version of this song for the last 9 years, so understandable this has to be compared to it. Which is an honour that we are again comparing Lucy to the very best. I imagine Pentatonix dread Lucy for already bettering many of their songs. Both renditions are equally epic and equally good, but when Lucy and Martha harmonize it’s like the heavens have opened and truly inspirational. 👼💫 Spectacular heavenly harmonies giving the chills which Pentatonix didn’t. Lucy and Martha are just 2 (or 1.5) were Pentatonix are 5 top mixed singers.

Lucy's Somewhere took me back to 1957 in the audience of the Westside Story opening on Broadway Carol Lawrence was a student in my father's history so naturally we had to go see her. Carol's performance was really good , but she was lucky that Lucy was not yet around ro grab that part.

I love this performance for so many reasons but the two main ones are that Martha has been let off the leash a little and is singing more powerfully and that for much of the song Martha is singing the melody whilst Lucy is overlaying it with the harmony, so different to how they usually perform.

these is wonderful "Mary Did You Know" great gift for the Holiday seasong. there duet are stunningly beautiful but Martha voice is little depht much more off by Lucy vocals but when there in harmonized together there vocals just sounds beautiful togather.
