The side bar on the band pins is for pulling the pin back to remove the band. You can just catch it with your fingernail and pull the pin back to change the band. Without it you had to get in with a blade or something and try to pull the pin back by the little ring.
The nibs on the watch bands are used to compress the springs to remove them from the watch and install them/interchange them. They are a feature on several watch bands including my mid-tier timex.
The Hyper-Chicken lawyer from Futurama is the character that gave me the hardest laugh of the entire series. "Your Honor, I move that I be disbarred for introducing this evidence against my own client."
There needs to be a law that smartwatches can't advertise features or functions that are not native to the device itself. It's really annoying that the majority of features require a phone and app, which means you don't even need the watch. You can get heart rate and other sensors that will work directly with a phone and skip the watch entirely.
I'm a southerner , and I worked up north for a bit . I would describe Menards as the store at the end of the rail line were they sell whatever is left on the train . P.S. Moxie is horrible !!!

I had to get a CPAP because I was always tired. Turns out I stop breathing for several minutes during sleep resulting in not getting much quality sleep. The the day after the sleep study I was more awake than I ever had been and that was with only about 4 hours on the mask. Most of the time folks will just replace the entire watch band with one from Wal-mart or something, so there's not much call for the clasps. You'd have an easier time finding those spring things by themselves than the clasp.
Thanks for the fascinating video. I bought a very similar watch on sale for $9 at Menards just out of pure curiosity of how that much functionality could be put into a $9 package. Lower quality than Home Depot? In central Illinois it's significantly higher quality than Home Depot. 🤣 My dad and I both wish they existed in California.
I've spent hundreds of hours per chain in the Illinois/Indiana area (Menards) and California/Nevada/Arizona (Home Depot and Lowes) as a contractor, and dozens to thousands more as a customer. Menards is definitely the better store all around between those regions, from their stock quality and selection to their store construction to their inventory/POS systems.
@@Azlehria Not just because it's half a mile from my house but I prefer the Menards store layout better. HD is way too vertical and dark, dense and confusing.
@@BenHeckHacks If the rest of the chain is similar to the stores I've been in, I think Menards' superior layout is a function of size. Brighter colors make a space _feel_ bigger, more open, and better-lit.
I wouldn't say Menards is a cheaper version of Home Depot, because it really depends on what you're buying. Paint (in the middle and higher end) at Menards is much noticeably better for example, but Home Depot carries much better power tools.
I'd guess that both of these were made by the same company that acts like a boutique. Some other company contracted N number of watches to be built with M specifications.
