Great to hear someone playing without resorting to the ol’ cliche blues stuff. A Classy demo and a great sounding amp!

Fender fixed the limitations of the VibroChamp with this version. 10" speaker+reverb=bliss. Outstanding amp.

Just picked one up and I love it. So versatile considering you can use the entire volume range without blowing the walls off the place.

Pro tip: If you have a singlecoil guitar there´s a way to EQ this excellent amp to sound even more like an old school Vibro Champ. Set bass and treble to a minimum = "1", volume between "5" and "8". Voilá!

Same for humbuckers too. Instant old school VC tone.

Amazing review! Could I use the champ with an 8 ohm attenuator/cab sim? I usually use a torpedo captor X 8 Ohm for my Marshalls & I‘d love to try out the champ with it.

Great demo! Considering this is a low powered amp (and you eluded to the nasally champ sound) how full sounding is it there in the room, compared to, say, a Princeton Reverb? Or does this sound significantly more nasally/boxy than the Princeton?

Hey! It does sound significantly more boxy/nasally than a standard 65RI Princeton. But that’s kind of the charm of it. On the neck pickup of a humbucker guitar it doesn’t flub out and it has that lovely vintage woody character for lighter playing styles. If you’re using it for rock it’s a super tight dirty tone that actually sounds amazing recorded, especially when double tracked with a slightly different tone.
