It's alot of work to care for an orphaned calf, so many have come together to help him. Hopefully he goes to a wonderful facility and is quickly accepted into a pod
Whether a rescue facility releases an animal or not is not up to them. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) decides whether an animal is releasable. The end goal is always (including with SeaWorld's rescue program) to release the animal to the wild. However, because this calf is so young, it may not be releasable, as it may not have the skills to survive in the ocean. Time will tell. Also, SeaWorld is not cruel. You can't blindly believe everything you see on Netflix and/or the internet. Educate yourself :)
I’m all for rescuing animals of all sizes and species but I really disagree with him being housed permanently at sea world, they should just stop shows and performing totally and just allow the animals to swim around and do whatever they want
