I wanted to share an update on some of the new products I used in today's video. New Tubing Mascara: Not worth it in my opinion; didn't flake, but didn't do much for my lashes; also didn't like how it washed off New Powder: liked it; did need a touch up on my nose after 5/6 hours though; wore well under my eyes Eyeshadow Palettes: they held up and didn't cause fall out during the day; not the most amazing formula, but for $10 or less, it's not bad Concealer as foundation: LOVE IT! Will do it again! Primer: liked it; didn't cause excess oilless and wore well under the rest of the makeup Hope this mini review helps! Thanks for watching!
On mascara dont wiggle your brush. Plus one is shorter to use to separate eye lash. Jan's mascara was awesome. She found out you can't wiggle your brush like you can with others. Hers wasn't clumpy
@@SteffsBeautyStash yeah Jen had it clump up when she wiggled the brush but when she just applied with the flat side and then combed it out with the other side it worked great.
I loved this red color too! I got so many compliments on it that I’ll definitely go back to it next year. The blonde turned out nice! You all will see it soon!
Have the best time at Gwens concert, I was a no doubt fan back in the day.... cant wait to see the silver hair!... Milani... only the concealer grabbed my attention 💞
I love the Milani baked blushes and cream blushes. The only eyeshadow palette by Milani I've enjoyed was the Terra Gilded palette. I enjoy using my tarte shape tape concealer as foundation. Have you seen Jen Phelps review on the Milani mascara? She really enjoyed it.
No shade, but there isn't much Jen DOESNT like... purchased products on her rec and they all pretty much sucked.... I can't trust her recommendations....

I haven't seen her review. Several of you all mentioned it. I'm giving the mascara another try today and so far it seems better. I did curl my lashes this time and that helped a lot!
I'm waiting on my first Shop Miss A haul and they didn't have those triangle puffs. I ordered some from Amazon instead. I watched Jen Phelps apply the Milani tubing mascara on one eye and the Thrive on the other and it looked really good! She found not to wiggle the brush or it clumped. I thought her Milani side looked better than the Thrive side. She also said it removed the same way as the Thrive did at the end of the night for her. Again, we all know that makeup is a very subjective and personal thing. I'm hoping it works for me as I have so much trouble with mascara ending up under my eyes no matter what kind I wear! I have used the elf hydrating camo concealer as foundation before and I enjoy it!
I use concealer as foundation. But not all over the face, my skin does not tolerante that. But using concealer really works for me, better than foundation. I use one from Glamshop. Together with Cream bronzer from Glamshop and it stays all day.
We're getting that cold too. Below 0 wind chills in Montgomery Al ! We're usually in short sleeves around Christmas. No snow though , thank God. We'd be totally shut down. Dreading it. My dogs are not going to be happy !
I've never had luck with Milani eye products, the face products are usually good. You did pretty looks, but you could tell they were dry and harder to blend. I'm partial to your hair being red haha, but can't wait for the change.. I'm getting so much gray and love it, I call them wisdom highlighters..💚💚
I've been curious about these palettes hoping Milani would finally reformulate their matte shadows. If they'd make them not so thin and slippy it'd be great. Their metallics are nice but you can't build the mattes and they want to blend away. I wish they'd go back to the most loved mattes and bold obsessions formula. That was better than a lot of high end eyeshadows.
Hey Steff, Hope you feel better. I love Milani Primers & Blushes. I have them all!! Their Sugar Mask & Balm 😩💗🔥 I didn’t pick up anything new. And the Antigravity mascara makes my eyes itch and burns. So.. I’m like… I’m staying away from their mascara and heavy perfumes things. Their Foundations are okay. But I live by their concealers. Shoutout to you for using Concealer as foundation. I love La Girl Concealers as foundation.. 😩 you taking me back to old 2015 me!! I still do but with makeup… I moved upstairs and got broke 🤣💀(Sometimes BUT ONLY FOR CONCEALERS) You got me loving their Liquid Contour. I’m trying to stop buying backups. But Man.. Wait until I’m done. I’m rushing and buy another 😃
The alcohol palette names feel like they're tipping their hat to Glamlite's After Hours collection, esp the Choco Martini palette. These minis seem like a nice, mini alternative for those who don't order online... tho for mini brown palettes, I feel like there is a lot of competition. I love your earrings and shirt. So festive! 🎄😁🎀
@@SteffsBeautyStash I know the quality is vastly different, lol. Just thought it was interesting for drugstore eyeshadow to have alcohol refs. I will recommend Glamlite and CP brown palettes over Milani any day, as long as someone can access them.

I don’t like the Big Glided pan palettes. I have only one but it was broke and I threw it away. ( they gave me my money back ) but it was a miss. Like.. why are they mini better than the big palettes… 🤷♀️

I love concealer as foundation, especially the Nyx serum & the Honest concealer. I haven't tried the Milani concealer yet but it looks great! I was really curious about the new powder & the tubing mascara, so thanks for the review.
I’m hopeful for the mascara… I’ve never been able to afford the Thrive. I’m hoping it’s one of those formulas that needs to dry out a bit before getting good.
Steff, u have more heart than me, don't think I could get up to do a tutorial before work!! U have great skin & ur foundation/concealer gives flawless look. Blush application looks as if it glides on easily. To me all Milani's color story look alike, I like them I did them for the longest time "back in the day"!! haha! But still use Most loved matt 12 pan. All ur looks r 🔥
I was going to do this video the day before, but since I knew it was gonna be a full face of trying new makeup and I had stuff to do after work, I thought na, let me just wait and do it in the AM so I'll be ready for the day. Sometimes that works sometimes it doesn't lol!

I bought that new Days of Disco palette and to be honest, it was a little disappointing. It was sparkly and beautiful to look at, but the shades were dry and I had to really work with it to get a look and even then, the sparkly shades didn’t work very well. I haven’t reached for it since 😢
Hi Steff, if I'm gonna be honest, to me the eyeshadow seemed hard to work with but you always come up with gorgeous looks 😍. I've never tried concealer as foundation so I def will try that the mascara is a def no for me and I have the thrive mascara and to me my favorite is telescopic from L'Oreal with their lash paradise primer and I do use an eyelash curler and my eyes come out awesome. I found my novel and made a comment to you butt it was the two faced palette so not sure if you saw it. Thanks for the review but for me they are a pass. Can't wait to see you blonde♥️🤗🌹🥰😘
I really like Milana and was really excited 😊 to see this video. I have to agree with you there eyeshadows are a hit and miss. The colors in the all the palette 🎨 are pretty. I haven't seen her videos in a while. I do know she tries a lot of makeup and does swatches, so I'm glad that some can benefit from that at least.

Did you use the contour as a bronzer? The taupe color in the tube doesn't look like the warmer color on your cheeks!

Yeah unfortunately Milani does a lot of things well, but eyeshadow is their weak spot.
