My first time in the Big Apple over ten years ago, I learned that even Manhattan sleeps on a cold Sunday night. I walked around looking for a place to eat, and all I found was a pizzeria selling whatever cold slices were left in their display case, lol... I also learned there is a lot of mediocre cuisine in New York, along with the great food, but that it all costs a lot.

@@LateNightCable Tbh, my experience with dining in New York is that it isn't really anymore expensive than any other major city. Or would screams of pain, be they from fanatical self-flagellaton or emitted by damned souls tormented forever in a hell of the vile death-cult of christism where an un-dead Jewish zombie is the object of veneration for no adequately explored reason, would THOSE be more to your tastes and approval, or what?

I had a customer from Los Angelos who visited our plant in PA annually, always planned around the semi-finals of the US Open in the Meadowlands. Every year they wanted to make sure we visited Sparks Steak House in Manhattan, NYC. If I recall correctly, that's where Paul Castellano & an associated was killed. Anyway, never had a bad meal when we went there.

Umbertos was great. I’d get the scungili fra diavolo with pepper biscotti. I’ve been to Raos a couple of times too. Back when the old lady used to bring cheesecake. Pellegrino died of throat cancer. Too many cigars. Bo Dietl always there

This restaurant isn’t known for any mob connections but it’s an Italian restaurant by the name of Gendusa’s Italian Eatery, in Kenner, Louisiana. The dining area has photographs of Mafia guys on their walls, including images from The Godfather. The food there is good

This video was by far the creepiest and funniest (though in a sick way, like getting shot in the back for laughing too hard in a restaurant) video that you have ever made Mr. Francese. I listened to it at 75% speed and laughed all of the way through!

Back in the '80s and early '90s, I remember eating at Teresa and Mimmo's in Little Italy, NY. I don't believe it exists anymore. Kind of a NY-style, rough-and-tumble place, but the food was spectacular. They had a signed picture of Gotti hanging on the wall. If you didn't tip the waiters enough, they would actually follow you outside and give you hell in Italian. Che disgrazia!

I've met a whole lot of people in my life.
Some of the best of them, were while I was parking cars, at some pretty nice restaurants.
The sort of people who treat you with the same respect you give them.
No matter your position in life.

If you visit England next year, You should visit Gloucester. You should visit Tonno Italian Restaurants. It is very good, classy & you will enjoy it.
Also you should visit the Gloucester Cathedral as well which was built over 2000 years ago.
It is also the place where they filmed some of the Harry Potter films from the school.
Take care & I will always look forward to your videos.

How did you omit the hit on Carmine Galante in Joe and Mary's Italian-American Restaurant in Brooklyn? The image of Galante's body sprawled in the floor with a cigar still in his mouth is one of the most famous of all crime photographs.

Michael, I got a mob movie for you to review....It's called "Oscar" with Sylvester Stallone. It's basically an ode to the screwball slapsticks comedy of the 30's & 40's. I forgot how underrated and funny this movie was until I saw it recently. You should review this movie and as a bonus your good friend Chazz Palminteri is in it and he's absolutely hilarious!!!!.....
