Can't thank you enough for this pattern and the template too. I'm in New Zealand and it's impossible to buy a cover for my Kenwood mixer but I can use your template and fabulous tutorial to make one. Very much appreciated, thank you 💖💖
Thanks for sharing your very easy to follow tutorial. I made 4 of them for my daughter and daughter-in-laws for Christmas. They turned out great. Thanks once again for your pattern.
This is just what I was looking for. I have pattens for appliance covers and made the toaster one but didn't like the look of the binding tape over the seams. Thanks for sharing this.
Oh my goodness thank you so much 🥰 I made one for mine and I’m going to make one for my sister for her birthday 🥳 so excited Could you make a video for a 8qt instant pot your instructions are so easy to follow 🥰
Hi There! I made this cover using double-sided white quilted fabric, so I cut out only three pieces. My machine is an Ultra Power model (4.5 qt) with stainless steel band with blue graphics. I sewed the cover with wrong sides together and then used 1/2" double wide navy blue bias tape to enclose the seams which are therefore on the exposed right side of the cover. This came out absolutely perfect and matches my machine's accent color! The only thing that I would like to change is the size since it is slightly too big. Where/how do I reduce the size? It's a little too high and a little too wide. Thanks!
Great tutorial, I just need to know what size of Kitchen Aid mixer you made this for. I need to make one for my sister, hers is the medium ...Artisan one. Thank you!! I would add some fusible fleece too, to match a toaster cover I made on the same pattern idea.Thank you for the free pattern!
Mine turned out great!! I added an inch to the pattern, then 2 for the gusset...used fusible fleece for the outer piece, and made piping too. I hand basted the piping on, then the gusset, it was easy to sew without pins. Thank you!
1 yard of outer fabric and one yard of inner fabric or 2 yards if same fabric. But full details @ happiestcamper.com/how-to-sew-a-kitchenaid-stand-mixer-cover-with-free-sewing-pattern/
Please share what the all around final measurements are to front and over top on this cover? What size it will fit? As not all KitchenAid stand mixers are equal in size.
You could use it to stiffen it up but I found my was good without it and is holding its shape nicely but you could add it to ensure it holds it stiffer
has anyone used interfacing or batting in this project? I have an old KitchenAid cover and tried the old cover on my sewing machine. It fits nicely. Any input would be appreciated. Might make two.
Of course you can find the pattern in this post happiestcamper.com/how-to-sew-a-kitchenaid-stand-mixer-cover-with-free-sewing-pattern/ so you can print it and make your own!
I just made one and it huge for my mixer. I’ll have to take it apart and cut it down. Cut out a duplicate for my daughter in law. Will need to reduce it. Should have measured first.
It was made for a kitchen aid mixer so if your is a different bran then yes it will most likely be big. Sorry but hopefully you still enjoyed the sewing project.
Thank you. I have a KitchenAid, but it’s not an industrial size. I just resized it and it’s perfect. I’m very happy with it. Thank you for the instructions. I’m making one for my daughter in law.

I would reduce it by taking a small portion off each side. Only width and height. Be careful to not take to much.

Is this for aTilt-Head Kitchenaid mixer? If so, how do I use template for a bowl-lift kitchenaid?
Here is for the pro happiestcamper.com/cover-kitchenaid-professional-mixer-pattern/

Yes
Will this fit a cusinart mixer?
It might would have to compare sizes

Good pattern, but I was hoping to see the end result better, what it looks like fully covering the mixer. Maybe I missed it?

Do I need to make the liner? What's the purpose of the liner?
The liner just gives it more support you could do it without but would be more flimsy
