Holly Springs is definitely a good spot for settling down and is close enough to Raleigh (especially when 540 finishes) and other towns that it's not too bad to find something to do, as long as you have a car. If only they had some sort of public transit around the area, it would make it much better!
Hi there! Holly Springs is a really good spot! And it'll be great when I-540 is complete.. looking forward to that! 😅I agree on the lack of public transit as a whole. This definitely surprised us when we moved here too.
See there’s the problem. you’re already complaining about what’s not there go find someplace else that will make you happier.. I get so tired of the retirees coming down here and then sitting there complaining about what it’s not. There is a reason Why the place you left has high taxes. Connect the dots in your brain
@@jessegarman7899 What a hilarious response to a comment praising the area while also noting one downside. Also, wtf makes you think I'm a retiree from elsewhere? I get so tired of people like you. Maybe use your own brain and stop making assumptions about people on the internet based on a single comment.
The public transportation that cheaply gets you out n about, also brings people cheaply right back at you.. BE careful what you ask for, you might just get it,BLESS YOUR LITTLE HEARTS.
I visited Holly Springs for a week after flying in from Los Angeles last month. Everyone was telling me how horrible the traffic was, but it felt like a dream to me lol Would move there in a heartbeat if my employer would allow it (they won't). Grew up in Virginia with family in NC - not a complete stranger to the state.
We'll be moving there in a few months. We currently live in Pearland TX just south of Houston. I have a dump less then 4 miles away and Pasadena chemical plants 15 mins away. That dump and plant I keep hearing about does not phase me at all. 😂
Welcome soon to Holly Springs ☺️ we hope you love it! People definitely mind or they don’t.. it seems to be a 50/50 split! I say as long as you are aware and fine that’s all that matters 🩵
I live in HS. Thanks for the RE perspective. I've heard complaints about the landfill smell. But NC does controlled burning so the entire region can smell like smoke at times. And many of the growth pains are universal to other towns in Wake county and elsewhere.
HS traffic is Horrible and the power plant is big Minus, the only good thing is it's close to Apex that's it and this place is smelly too but good thing is no one knows until you drive from a different place
It does get congested on 55.. with the I540 expansion, we are hoping to see relief, but like a lot of the surrounding suburbs, there are a lot of country roads, and with the number of new communities continuing to be added. Then, with the influx of people moving to the area, the roads back up during peak times.

The bad part is that when 540 is complete, it will be a toll road on the Holly Springs side.
Traffic is Horrible
Everyone is hoping with I 540 completing it’ll alleviate some of the congestion 😅

You can get smell when you come from a different place actually, if you stay there never know
I think one’s nose can get immune to it..

Hey Rev John Great points and so very true! There are so many things to love about Holly Springs too❣️
Knightdale is better if you are looking for less price point than spending more in Holly

5 minutes of intro and then about 10 seconds of information
90 seconds for an intro too long.
I appreciate your feedback 🙃
I agree
Yankees need to avoid the whole state.
Please retire someplace else. We don’t have the room. We are full up
