I'been working with aws, gcp, azure but I found in Hetzner simplicity and everything I need at a good cost.

It's amazing service, although I couldn't pay for last month, but I will suggest your service above all.
One little thing i would love to see, an upgrade service for long running servers that you can either get an up to date machine, with a little downtime then of course, or that you could order a new machine and take your old IP with you.

Dear Hetzner,
I'm writing to express my indignation with the lack of security on the server I hired with you. Recently, I discovered that an unauthorized person managed to access my server from another IP and change my email to a temporary one, without any preventive measure or warning on your part. This is nonsense and a serious violation of my privacy and data.
As a result of this hack, my website was down and I lost control of my domain. This caused me financial and reputational damage, as well as a lot of stress and worry. I am very shocked, scared and disappointed with Hetzner, which claims to be a serious and reliable company, but which does not offer the minimum security to its customers.
I demand that you take immediate action to restore my server and website, and that you let me know what happened and who was responsible for this intrusion. I also want to know what measures you are going to take to prevent this from happening again in the future, and what compensation you are going to offer me for the inconvenience caused.
I expect a quick and satisfactory response from you, otherwise I will pursue my rights in court and report Hetzner for negligence and bad faith.

only arm servers are cheap and good for price performance other services of hetzner are not that competitive

Please seriously tell me where could I get their equivalent of the Ryzen 7000 series on offer, or the Intel ones. The ARM and x86's (best grade consumer CPUs), and storage servers, all have been very very competitive with hetzner. It's even hard to beat their $/TB rate. The only provider I came across which has similar consumer grade hardware for similar pricing is Deinserverhost also German based.
Nice video, but the cloud servers still lack DDoS protection. The alleged protection is not there and does not provide any security. And you call that an innovation.

I have many sites, webapps and other cloud hosted programs deployed on their servers for years and have never once had downtime to a ddos attack, so not sure who you're being attacked by or what but that seems odd, I have had multiple attacks attempted as well, quite a few actually, still nothing. Not sure how you're saying they lack DDoS protection, perhaps its not the best but its not absent.
is it a ddos attack, or didn't you calculated the users wrong?
@@schwingedeshaehers Teamspeak gets DDos attacks, nothing protects here, the server is big enough.
I also have a cloud server, and they do have ddos protection... They even have it announced on their web page, i'm not sure about the limit but it does work but if you are beeing attacked sure you will feel something the first 10 mins as the protection takes some times to move inn and after that it works and you end up with a email from Hetzner wanting you to write a little report and how you will deal with it. If you never reached such email and your server was down im 99% sure it was your own fault propebly poorly coded services..
@@UlrikBrun-ir7mh At 500,000, allegedly the firewall is supposed to activate. The attacks were very significant, yet they were not filtered. I don't just have one server; I have several.
