You shouldn't focus on watts as the 80% number to go by. As your input voltage goes down (usually in summer months when the grid is getting overwhelmed), the AMPs must increase to supply the proper wattage (volts x amps = watts). Last year during the summer, I had input voltages drop all the way down to 216-218 at it's lowest. If you go off 5700w as your 80% mark, that would mean you'd be at approximately 26.4 AMPs, which is nearly 90% of a 30amp circuit
@@BojanglesTheMiner I pay $0.12 in electric, so the ROI on the Jasminer is approx 39 months vs 60 months for the E9Pro. It's a no-brainer that the Jasminer will pay for itself and be profitable much quicker than the E9Pro.
My 2 cents: the E9 pro is quite cheap for its hashrate but also power hungry. Even with 0.08 USD powercost which is pretty cheap you are barely making a profit. I would rather invest in a Jasminer that is way more energy efficient. When ETC price goes down, or mining difficulty increases, you then still make a profit.
It dawned on me that your intake wall strength is weak. The plywood is the structural atrength of the wall. The strongest shap is a triangle so think of the rectangle wall as two tringles together so it's the plywood that make the tringles strong. When you cut all the intake openings at that level, there's very little strength left. Theoretically, the only time the wall strength is tested is when there are strong wind events. Regardless, you need to strengthen that wall up.
I think you'd be better off buying the Jasminer X16 which will support dual mining and Nicehash. They are far more efficient than the E9 Pro, even the older X4-Q are better just no NH or dual mining support
Hello, i'm putting the etc address in 2miner then, dot, then the btc address as the miner name. And i am not getting anything in 2miner. been Over a hour. it's just pasting a other address in there.... it's not rocket science but my e9pro don't wanna do btc, in 2miner. Bet it didn't take TOO long to start seeing the hashes for you. And which address would u use to check the progress. 2Miner info sucks imo. Thank you
@@TheHobbyistMiner Ok, let me try that. Btw, i know it veries but how long before you saw it in 2miners. I know the e9 pro is slow. Thank you very much !
I use C13 to C14 cables from Infinite Cables. Than the PDU I use which I love because it has a TON of port is this guy from Tripp Lite geni.us/TrippLitePDUHOBBYIST

Hobbyist you have a awesome miner, the power to turn it on and the space to run it. Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Awesome video sharing the pros and cons of purchasing a E9Pro
You just did a video talking about efficiency, but the E9 Pro is not very efficient compared to Jasminer.
jasminer, the price is crazy.
Except you can buy 4 e9 pros for the price of a jasminer x16-p

@@ronwatkins5775 That's an ROI of 55 months at 12 cent for the Jasminer
@@BojanglesTheMiner According to minetheasic, the ROI is 39.2 months

Have you tried specmining with the e9 pro ? According to the octaspace calculator you would be making over $14 a day at the moment

Mine is at 3.98 GH/S AVERAGE

Yep but the $ per hashrate is really bad. I believe this fella has $.05 electric

You mine to 2Miners ETC Stratum.
You put in your BITCOIN ADDRESS.WorkerName

Can you tell me which power cord and surge protector you are using for this?

@@TheHobbyistMiner Thank you for the reply. Sorry to follow up but do you think that pdu would be overkill for one e9 Pro?
do the jasminers work on unmineable?
How do you get free shipping? It’s cost $250.00 for shipping.
Hey ASICmarket does not offer free shipping as mentioned in your video.
e9 pro 3680m for sale in Hong Kong warehouse. 1900u/unit
no nicehace to etc-zill like another miners. Why antminer?????
Any update from nicehash yet?
Yeah its a Bitmain Thing.
Bitmain needs to make it compatible on the protocal level.
Apparently Nicehash has reached out and Bitmain has no interest.
@@TheHobbyistMiner ughhh that’s disappointing. Thanks for the update! Hope we get it soon!
Please Nicehash!!!! 🎉
$FRM is the best project you can get yourself involved in
@nicehash
no nicehash no dual mining
