No he didn’t, Dame said he was giving everybody who had their own branch at Rocafella a VP spot. So Cam, Sigel and Bleek were supposed to get a VP position. Out of the 3 of them Cam was the only one ready to go so he got in position first.
Cam did earn that spot man. The way he established the Dipset brand in streets through the mixtapes, limited radio play was incredible. It was a movement for real. So it made sense for Cam to get that spot. Jay was hating period point blank.

Compare that to them other bums on rocafella who had everything given to them, from jayz collaboration tracks, to movies like state property, to they own clothing line, and still wasn't able to finess that and become as successful as camron or kanye.......
This dude beans had 4 albums on rocafella including his own crew State property which spawned 2 state property group albums and 2 state property movies......
Memphis bleek had 4 albums on rocafella, and his own crew get low.......
Young gunz was able to put out 2 albums
Freeway was able to put out a debut album....
Dudes like crakk,oschino and sparks didn't even drop albums because they took no initiative.........

Dame needs to tell the truth in one interview and admit the Roc A Fella Def Jam was a bad deal. All the masters/publishing went to Def Jam and once Roc A Fella became self sufficient Def Jam were getting 50%. Jay got paid as an owner and artist, add Kareem split and after taxes Dame probably took home 8% of Roc A Fella profits. He expanded the label signing Cam Nore etc to make more money and that’s what started the tension with Jay.
