People complaining about the change of the main cast don't understand that tihis is probably the best thing hoyo could do since all the characters in part 1 are fully developed and changing protagonists while keeping old characters around brings freshness to the story, while not letting old players feel alienated
yep, as a pso2 ngs player they should keep it that way.. the sequel of our game pso2 to pso2 ngs have different world story and protagnist but the OG protaginist became a legend.. they should forward for the past as guide and explore to new world
Gonna give Mihoyo credit for keep caring for the older games, even they can do very well without them. Honkai School 2, the predecessor to HI3 was getting its own Part 2 treatment, by sending off the 1.0 casts in a spectacular final showdown. That game probably cost them more to maintain/develop than what it can earn at this point, yet they still treat it seriously, that’s just pure dedication on their end.
A Honkai game without Kiana, Mei, and Bronya just looks weird, i'll probably stick to Genshin tbh. I wasn't expecting Da Wei to speak english though lol

Sure, but thats what ggz does from time to time, so not something new to not have the main cast present for a whole story arc. Also, while being a spin off, hsr is still pretty mainline because of Welt n VA, who r main timeline hi3 characters, and the direct tie-in w alien space.
