Since your Japanese boyfriend loves the beach, you and him should head to the Philippines. They have the most beautiful and secluded beaches in the world! Plus the Philippines is not from far Japan. As a Filipino American of Japanese, Filipino, and European descent, I've been both to Japan and the Philippines two times, and both are awesome places to visit. Don't forget to visit Little Tokyo in Manila or Little Kyoto in Cebu city. ☺

OMG the intro listening to that loud speaker gave me flashbacks when I went to Egypt and they do the call to prayer at 4 am and you can't escape it because there is a mosque on every corner no lie. So no matter where your apartment is you will hear the call to prayer and it's on a loud speaker a freaking bullhorn in the air. I don't mind when I am awake but that waking me up at 4 am, that is for the birds! I will never go back to Egypt again!
