We're replying again in case you didn't get it the first time: In this video presentation, Dr. Klassen's hypothesis is that the injection of retinal progenitor cells will help protect the photoreceptors in the retina that have not yet been damaged by RP, and even revive those that have been damaged but not yet destroyed by the disease. So it could potentially increase visual clarity. The extent of the increase won't be known until the clinical trials are performed.
