On the minimum wage thing, as a swede i must point out that we don't have a minimum wage. We scale wage in education, work experience, expected living expenses based on age (i.a. if you are young you might not have a family to support so you start with a lower wage. As opposed if you are older and might a wife and kids.) Or just negotiate with your boss.
Srry for the math but I'm also Swede and we have some laws about that still. If u are 20 y/o or older you mostly have to be paid 22000 SEK / month = 2171,40 USD. An average month is 30,4375 days which is around 4,35 weeks / average month. If u work 40 hrs a week times 4,35 weeks u work for 174 hours per average week. If u divide 2171,40 USD with 174 it's around 12.48 USD / hour. So if 22000 SEK/month is 12.48/hour the average salary in Sweden is 37100 SEK/month which is 1.68636363... times more than 22000 so if we multiply 12.48 with 1.68636363... the average salary is around 21.046 USD/hour
