Really wish you could've been my teacher all throughout school. Not only are you bad A$$ but you teach things in a simple, straight forward, no BS way. Had you been my teacher in school I might have actually become an astronaut like they promised me XD
Thank you for teaching me how to make a ladder. I practiced it (mini scale) and it came to my mind that it can be useful to carry someone who cannot walk by reducing the spacing between the logs, like a bed.
One of my favourite knots! This knot is so versatile, this one knot can turn into a Stopper Knot, Bowline, Slip Knot and also used to join two ropes together, Just love it!
Thank you for making this video, it really helped me understand how to make a rope ladder and finally see how simple it is to make all the bars level, looking forward to more videos
Thank-you, I'm a brand new subscriber , and I'm learning from you thing's I didn't know how to accomplish before. I will use for good reasons always! I'm a Honorable man, you explained the knots and ladder well. And simple for beginners like me. 👍👌✌😊thank you. God bless you, and God bless America!
Well explained! I saw a lot of videos about building a ladder with rope and sticks, and you are the fist who explains the most important part at 5:08, "face it upwards". Because if you do it downwards when you push the stick it will give way.
Há muito tempo eu venho procurando um vídeo como esse.Fácil e excelente explicação.Obrigado ao excelente professor. For a long time I've been looking for a video like this. Easy and excellent explanation. Thanks to the excellent teacher. Thank you.
Once again as a 3 tour Marine Sgt... I come for my ricky recon lessons at "Corporal's Corner" to get "schooled and educated." Semper fi Marine, and God bless... youre expanding my brain housing group!

I will first show my grand-kids your video, and then as a "safety project" we will make ladders out of mule tape as a means to climb out of a window in an emergency. We will also use your demonstrated bowline knots to fasten the rope ladder to window sill hooks. The next project will be to use this method to make a "hasty" swing while camping. And yes, now that I've subscribed, I will certainly share your channel. Thanks for posting this terrific information!
After watching this video I had to go try this. Using mule tape I made a marlin spike hitch ladder and it held my 200 plus ass .I for one have learned a lot from your videos and do appreciate the videos you put out. As always this is an Outstanding A.F video my friend.
When you first explained scaffold knot I was a bit confused but the second I saw the X( shortly followed by double barrels) I knew it was esentially a double overhand knot with a bite. Is there a reason it is called a scaffold knot and not just double overhand
Nice work, Sir. I'm using this method to made a "quick change" pvc ladder to climb for my ninja training. I can switch out 3/4 " to 1.5" quickly and easily. ✌😎
Curious to see what you think of the Midshipman's knot and what would be the best uses for it. I use it for a sliding/locking loop on fishing flies when you need more action to the fly, but I though it might be a good substitute for the scaffold knot.

the knot you are calling a scaffold knot is actually a double fishermans knot around the standing end forming a sliding loop
I was curious, besides doing this to create a ladder, can the same be done for making some kind of bridge?
I live in india forest area and my arround is jungle I will make this and use Thank u brother for this

One of my favourite knots! This knot is so versatile, this one knot can turn into a Stopper Knot, Bowline, Slip Knot and also used to join two ropes together, Just love it!
So from what I can tell, a Marlin Spike Hitch is actually just a slip knot, is this correct?
I guess I don't do knots that good
The way he made the loop and pocket made me think... so it’s a bowline? Lol. It’s fun to learn how to tie the knot 😉
Thank you for showing us how it’s Done! Yours is the easiest demonstration of the Marlin Spike Hitch I’ve ever seen!

Excelente video, muy bien explicado !!!! Mil gracias!!!
The scaffel knot is also known as the Poacher's noose. It's good for tying up newspapers, cardboard, pipes, 2x4's etc., because it doesn't loosen.
Great Job And Great knowledge provider thanks
Wow,zingga, pow! You sure got knots! Wonderful!
