    You need to check the end play.

    I have viewed some of your other LS videos for references durring my rebuild. I am finally putting all the pieces together. I wasn't sure if you dropped it in the Corvette I've seen in the garage or if you just built it to sell, but now I see it is going in your kit car. Sweet!

      Also, not sure if you mentioned it but what torque converter did you use? I've learned with my cam, I need to use a 2500 stall converter.

      For these light cars it needs to be 2800-3200. I got mine at Roadrunner.

    Better that the torque wrench snap than the bolt with high strength Loctite inside a piece of expensive machinery, I would think. A torque wrench should have a warranty.

      There was a second I was a little worried about that....

    Did you torque the ARP flexplate bolts to 74 or 85 ft lbs? The instructions with the bolts say 85. Thanks

    Hey, Jim ik it's been a few years, but did you use the dished flex plate along with a spacer to mate the 4l60E to the LQ4?

    Hi, when you mate the trans to the engine and bolted everything up, did the engine turn easily with the crank bolt?

    • @StreetRodJim
      @StreetRodJim  3 года назад

      Yes, you have to use a stop to torque the harmonic balancer bolt.
