  • In this video we meet up with the R&D team at Timbersled to ride the 2022 Riot 3. Timbersled Ambassadors Darren Teal and Rush Corder also join in for an action packed segment that only scratches the surface of what Riot 3 is capable of. Phil Driggers and Brock Bolin from Timbersled also share a bit about their background with us along with a glimpse of what it's like to work at Timbersled HQ. It was great to put a face and a story to the incredible Timbersled product. We were so impressed with this new kit and shock updates that we already have our Riot 3s Snow-Checked for next season!
In our next episode Darren Teal shows us some of his secret hucks! Like and subscribe if you want to see more content like this.

Timbersled’s are tuff! I have seen many Yeti sleds break the belt housing. I would rather be slightly heavier and have increased reliability for sure!

Do you guys ever run a rekluse clutch or do you like the stock clutch better?

I personally don’t. I prefer a manual clutch. Some say a rekluse and rob power and create excess debris from slipping the clutch plates too much. Clogging oil pumps. They are definitely nice to have in certain situations and for a newer rider with limited clutch/dirt bike experience it’s easier to learn with and often preferred. Just change your oil more frequently. Manual clutches arguably offer better performance if you know how to use one.

What did you think of the riot3? Especially compared to the Aro our mountain horse?

It’s impressive! It’s as good as the aro 3 in climbing and playful like the riot. It actually wheelies like you would imagine it should. The shocks were also great; you can charge into the roughest stuff with out a worry.
