The play in tournament has disincentivized franchises that sit in no man's land from selling off their parts and commit to a rebuild. Why? Because they get one more game's worth of revenue and a possible 7 game series to follow with inflated prices
Who would have made a trade that actually made the bulls better during the season? It's crazy to think that other than a trade with the lakers/76ers for some draft picks with drummond that there was anything else in the market better than what they could trade for in the offseason.

I started playing basketball when Jordan was the GOD of basketball and the Bulls was pretty much the only NBA team I knew about at the time. When i actively started following the NBA I latched on to the Celtics (back in 2015 when they where in a rebuild) and I am glad I did. That franchise at the very least seem to respect their fanbase.
