- Mountain Rainier. The crown jewel of the Cascade Range, and an icon in the PNW and on any mountaineer's climbing goals list. Located in Washington State in the heart of the PNW, this 14,409 foot volcano presents some of the best mountaineering objectives in the lower 48 states. Awesome, Radish!
Nice! Congrats on summiting the king of the cascades!
Thanks!
Nice work again Radish!! Loved this video as much as the north cascades one, albeit shorter, I enjoyed the music selection and your descriptions of the route! Cheers man. Still surprised your videos don’t get more views!! Keep up the great work :)
Thanks so much! Feel free to share with your friends and help me get some more views😂
Beautiful thanks for sharing. Hopefully, one day I can hike Mount Rainier. Would have be a guide group. I must be in great shape, excellent mountaineering skills.
Epic!!
Wow thanks Tom!
Nice video! The climbers blog made that route sound super rough late last season. Didn't realize it was due to a collapsed serac. Me and a few friends are going to attempt this route in June. Hoping for a more direct route.
I’m sure you’ll have a smoother time earlier in the season-good luck!
"I wanna die right now" - me on every approach
You and Justin both
Where do the ladders come from? Didn’t look like you carried them
The ladders are set by the guiding companies that are licensed to operate on the mountain. They use it for their guided groups, but all climbers are welcome to use them too. They constantly change as the route itself changes based on snow bridge collapses and crevasse widening throughout the season.
