Void is great, one of the best but not as consistent as mk Leo, Leo lost, didn't place as well in one tournament, well everybody has bad days, but that doesn't make void better just because of one set. :) imo
Even if I also get fed up with the commentators pushing Leo this hard whenever he attends a tournament, I can't help but laugh at the community for getting very salty over it.
The boy enters the american scene and they proceed to demand big wins from him to justify the hype around him. He gets some results and then they shrug it off.el oh el.
He's far from being the best and his matches with Void proves it. So, with that being said, chill out and let boy grow.

lol When he lost UGC smash open, people said "he is not even top 10". Then he won 2GGT Zero saga.. When he lost 2GGT Genesis saga, "he is not the best in the world" Then he won Genesis 4. Keep saying it.

Arguably Cloud has a tougher time with Sheik imo but Marth is a bit closer to even yet still loosing the MU.

Players styles of play can make certain MU do able and the opposite is true as well making it worse than usual. It seems that Voids playing style being more aggro than Mr R works way more effectively than how Mr R plays a little more carefully, but all in all Leo got outplayed no question. I was hoping for him to take it but he got decimated by Void. Its too soon to call him his bracket demon but its highly likely with what has happened and if he doesnt eventually find a way to adapt to him.
YoshiGator , then the reason according to you is Void's playstyle, not that he uses Sheik.. In smash 4, match ups dont win sets buddy (unless its Rosa vs Ness)
The commentators didn't notice, but between Games 1 and 2 VoiD 0-deathed Leo in back to back stocks

mk leo game 1 his second stock was basically 0-d death seeing as how void had 90 to start the stock and 90 when he killed leo then game two his first stock was a 0 to death. basically void took two stocks back to back on cloud and then marth without taking a percent lmfao. then he laughs game 3 and basically bodies leo in that game i mean he had an input error that lost him an early stock and still had a close call to win that game. then game 4 leo kills him in what looks to be in dominant fashion but void bounces back and wouldve got yet another 0 - death had leo not gotten 10% off an upB combo break. and void kills him laughing charging an early fsmash then gimps him with a nice combo to take the set. yea leo got fucking REKT

Logic was such garbage commentating this set.
I actually didn't like a lot of commentary this tournament to be honest.
And SilentDoom. He gives the commentary necessary to the match, and everybody can understand him, clear, concise, but not too in-depth.
*+Aschious Phaise* "In-Depth" could be substituted for "technical", or " thorough" for a more concise comment
*+ChaoticKhaos* D1 is pretty cool though.
Mewtwo _ honestly I think D1 is one of the worst commentators when it comes to the known ones. He's so quiet has no kind of analysis and most importantly lost his hype since G3
*+ChaoticKhaos* He's still better than most. If you watch local commentators, they'll be talking about Pizza and Politics while somebody's getting bodied, which is a major hype-killer, then there's the other more well known ones who try too hard to be 'cool', or go off-topic for extended periods of time.

Leo is the anti-dabuz. Look at Dabuz. What Dabuz does is really not that impressive. He never wins stacked tournaments because he just doesnt have the tools, his Rosa is far from being that good really. But Dabuz always ends top 8. Always. He placed 4th here. Thats normal for Dabuz, getting fourth. That is his position, and almost always gets it and sometimes even improves it. Why? Because he always wins the matches against the players he can beat. If the MU is in Rosa's favor or Dabuz knows the way to play against that player or that player is not top 15 in the world, if any of those things are true, then Dabuz will always win. And why is that? Because Dabuz knows the game better than anyone. Once he knows what to do he just executes.
There are a lot of times Leo doesnt know what do. He improvises. He has the talent to be first or second place in every tournament. Yet he lost in top 16. He placed badly in UGC and Genesis Saga too, way lower than expected. This is because he doesnt knows what to do in many situations. He makes MANY mistakes that make him lose against people he can easily beat. Leo can easily beat VoiD. Easy. But he went Cloud against Sheik... Dude... Against VoiD's Sheik. VoiD may have a little bit of a Cloud problem but that MU is still really on Sheik's advantage. Leo should know that, his cousin Javi destroys his Cloud with Sheik. Why then did he thought he could take VoiD? And the thing is that Leo has a Meta Knight. His meta Knight destroys Sheik free.
Dabuz would NEVER make such a silly mistake. Dabuz doesnt really make mistakes at all, thats the reason he gets 4th everytime. Leo loses against players that arent top 10 or top 15, he loses against characters he shouldnt (good matchups for either MK, Marth or Cloud) and doesnt really know how to execute a plan (he cant beat Ryu even though he knows what Ryu players are going to do). He is the anti-dabuz. Dabuz doesnt have Leo's talent to get 1st like he did in G4 and in ZeRo Saga, but is much more knowledgeable than Leo as well and thats why he doesnt get 16th like Leo did here and in UGC.
