I’m really chuffed with CDM Jacob Wright and CB Ruairi McConville - both great signings for Norwich. The way we play out from the back means ball-playing centre backs are a must and we haven’t had a CDM for a loooong time. I’m really pleased with that business and their ages are right in the sweet spot for the club and the manager. Lovely job.
Spot on,we have brought in 3 quality players, just what we wanted a midfielder who fits our style of play, very pleased how things are now progressing, Sargent back, sainz back soon along with Nunez and slimane,6 th place is within our grasp now 🙏🌟🇬🇫🤸💛💚🥳
It's nice to see Millwall show ambition and get some young blood in, a lot of deadwood there but at least now we can push for a play-off place. Dare we dream in SE16!!!! COYL🦁
Over the moon with every single new signing millwall have done ..definitely looking a lot better and definitely heading in the right direction miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Sheff Utd always had a quality 11 this season but no squad depth, it’s a miracle they are doing so well with constant injuries. So it’s good to see 5 new players to finally strengthen the squad to the level it needs to be. On paper Sheff Utd should be much much stronger in the 2nd half of the season. Think the big question mark revolves around central defence, it’s just not the same without Souttar (out for the season), so will be interesting to see what effect Rob Holding has. He’s played many times in a top end PL team (Arsenal) but not played in 2 years, so his career has totally stalled. He could be far too good for the Championship or a dud.
Millwall have done some decent business in the window would of like to see a right back come in team has balance now and some good youngsters signed and we kept hold of Tanganga coyl
Millwall should have got the right strength but signing good players has a good quality needs to get back to Alex Neil playing style that they need to keep on finding a good impact and keep improving without no problems with the injury we get the perfect boost to help us to improve how can they show some form to keep the playoffs and fight their place
Yeah spot on re: Cannon Sam. He's a very good finisher, makes good runs and works his socks off but didn't contribute very much in the build up during his time at Stoke. Al-Hamadi was already looks more involved in his first 60 mins.
Very pleased with our signings at Norwich, then you watch a video like this and see all the other clubs had blinding windows too. Be interesting next couple months to see how the league table changes
We at Derby have had quite a embarrassing window and I'm genuinely worried for our chances of staying in the league, we lost our best defender in Cashin for a large fee and then haven't reinvested that properly in additions to the squad, there was an expected 3 signings on deadline day yesterday and we only managed one. Needed to add and strengthen, but we have only replaced what we lost at the beginning of the window.
It makes me laugh that all the pundits were saying Leeds needed a striker and a defender. We are top scorers in the top 4 leagues and second to Burnley in goals conceded with players coming back. MOT
I'm with U on that 1,2 months ago I would of said no chance but 3 quality signings in, Sargent back along with sainz soon, add Nunez and slimane and we have a team again to push on 🙏🇬🇫🤸💛💚🏆🏴
Sunderland fan: happy with our business, I think Hull have done well and probably enough to keep them up, Burnley and Sheff United did some good business, Millwall and even Boro brought in a couple that could contribute to their play off push as the season goes to its end! Interesting up at the top and let’s see who shines, Le Fee in a more central role is a must for Sunderland so hurry up Mundle and get back out there on the left
Sheffield United had the best window when you factor in Wilder signing a new contract, but I think Hull had an excellent window. Egan and Barry were brilliant signings; if they hadn’t done quality business they could’ve been in trouble.
Choudhury, Brereton and Clarke have brought needed player profiles to the squad. All three improve the first 11. Holding and Cannon could be great, could flop. The Peruvian and Nigerian wingers who knows. I'm very pleased with the window, gives us a great boost for the final push.
Armstrong and Cissoko will help the Wednesday midfield with Famewo back soon in defence. Bit of a different league to the top teams, we were hoping for Jayden Danns too. Chansiri now shown to have spent £6m in 6 years on fees. Even Plymouth invested more. Rohl is working miracles.
Love the fact that QPR are looking to the future. The teenage Brazilian left back with an eye for goal looks exciting. All 21 or younger. Oh, and keeping Jimmy Dunne, of course. Sheffield Utd offer was way off the mark.
Sunderland didn’t lose any of their good young players and brought in arguably the best talent the championship now has in Le Fee. Signing Isiador on a permanent deal will only give that lad confidence, considering in his first start since then, he sat the Middlesbrough goalkeeper on his arse.
As a Sunderland supporter, I really like the business we have done in the window, signing Wilson permanently, La Fee and Dan’s are statements of intent. Sheffield United bringing in all those players will in my opinion will upset there rhythm as you have to play the Sheffield United way. Don’t rule Sunderland out for automatic promotion as the Boro result was massive for us and a disaster for them, they will struggle to make the playoffs if they persist with Ayling at right full back. Ha Way The Lads.
The pitch has sadly been a problem at home for us (Hull) for a couple years now. They have been trying loads to get it up to scratch, but I think it is just cursed at this point 😭😭
I am buzzing Iheanacho has signed for us, was a huge fan anyway and thought someone was trolling when I read a post last week about him joining us ... but watching us last night, he must wonder what he's walked into 😆😆 We are just scoring then sh1tting the bed constantly now, Giles confidence looks shot too - not ideal but fingers crossed that changes Football is mad but you never know, I hope we do the business Personally I am most excited about Sam Illing-Junior who we've signed on loan too He looks a strong lad and expect he will be a success .. when you consider we have the likes of Whittaker, Doak and Azaz there too, really Carrick can't have many excuses now We should have focused on strengthening a bit more at the back but what do I know, we w ill see what happens #UTFB
Leeds fan here.... just wanted to point out January signings can be overrated. We signed Weston McKennie and Max Wober in the January window and still got relegated from the Premier League. We've done much better in the summer - Ampadu, Piroe, Gruev, Tanaka, Rothwell, and others all came in the summer. Assuming we go up I'd like to see some really ambitious signings this summer and concentrate on players who are going to be helpful to keeping us in the Premier League.
your reasoning is sound , but buying Wober & McKennie made no difference to the fact you were shite and still are shite and even if you get promoted you'll come straight back down coz you're shite. WUBBLE U !!!!!!
January signings are usually geared more towards those pushing for promotion and play offs. Its hard for relegation threatened clubs in the Jan window, especially in Premier League. Not easy to get players in.
Firstly I will say, transfer fees are still way too much on the whole. In the championship, financial power is very uneven. Hull have recruited really well and given themselves a great chance of moving up the league. My team Argyle have brought in 5 players, 3 defenders and 2 CMs. Broke our transfer record 3 times, spending approx 4m in total, and have made 9.5m on player sales. Not one striker!? No replacement of MWs goals.or assists. Only plus is 2 cbs brought in. Despite us needing them before we lost our 2 best CBs. Letting Forshaw go for nothing. Cancelling Cissokhos loan and not replacing with another loanee. Keeping TJ whos been injured since pre season and not alot of hope with him staying fit. Overall, poor window.
Some good business for us, maybe should have been done in the summer but i'll take it.. Aasgaard looked good at Sheffield Weds.. Seems MB is building with quick players as he did at Wycombe
@@alanpashley3227thing is tho. It’s took us leeds until the end of January to hit 5th gear. All season we’ve been stuck in 2nd with only about 4-6 games getting into 3rd n maybe 1 into 4th. So every clubs bringing loads of players in won’t necessarily translate to form! But fair fucks if all their signings do hit the ground running but stats say they won’t
@@remyd1984you’ve hit top gear for 1 game….if you’re a Leeds fan then you should know Leeds can’t handle pressure and will likely blow up. Let’s see if Leeds can improve when playing poor teams away from home.

Tristan Crama was a good signing. He's a quality player with a high ceiling.
Over the moon with every single new signing millwall have done ..definitely looking a lot better and definitely heading in the right direction miiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Matt Grimes along with zero departures is a successful window for Cov - also quite likely that free agent Jamie Paterson is signing soon
I'm delighted that we weren't temped by the ten million bid for Matteo Joseph.
Really? Delighted because they has the common sense to not only have one fit striker left in Piroe?
Yeah Great owners that. 😅

Very happy that Cov signed one of the best midfielders in the Championship. Grimes played 84 Championship games in a row before Saturday.

Happy with the Matt Grimes transfer someone we’ve been missing for a while.

The January transfer window was certainly exciting in the Championship this year. Some great signings were made this year. Usually it's a snoozefest!
Two very promising signings for Norwich. We're playoffs bound Ben. You heard it here first Ben 😆

Leeds not losing Bamford sent a big cheer round Elland Road (physio dept)
😂
Louie Barry is a product of the West Brom academy not Villa....
Le Fee already looks the best player in the country, never mind the championship ;-)

Marcus Edwards is massive in the championship!

I don't personally think Dunne's good enough for United but if Wilder wants him he'll get him for free in the Summer. QPR have lost a pay day.
Stan Mills permanent to Oxford United from Everton was sad he got a really bad injury last season on loan but glad he has come back
Luton fan here - great transfer window, must be 6 new players in, Loving our new Norwegian Striker "Lassie" - he's 6ft 4 - is he Haaland 2.0? 😂🎉

Good I hope Boro don’t make the playoffs
