Absolutely beautiful. Grew up showing Arabians and only breed ever wanted was a Friesan ( besides lipizan) were never able to find one. Beautiful farm and is going to be great for the kids. That life raised me and I’m grateful.
Winnie is going to be a very happy girl according to the end of your video. Congrats on the new addition. Ride safe and have fun.....from Toronto, Canada
Beautiful horse. Being raised in Texas on a farm and ranch with horses all my life, I understand the difference in saddles and equipment. You would never catch this old boy in that saddle LMAO. Now comes the fun times. God Bless your beautiful family in all things., Love from Texas.
Beautiful Momma! So happy for you and Rooni! She will learn horsemanship properly from her human Mom a little bit more slowly than Penn’s fire duty lol😅 Glad you still have the Monster, I was wondering.
Good luck with her! She is quite inverted so lots of stretching and working over poles will help with that. I would also look into getting a pony or mini as a companion for her. But enjoy her! That girl will certainly help you get your core and legs strong!
When I was young my parents got me a horse. A Black arabian hourse, and the responsibility gave me a good work ethic. It takes a lot of work to take care of a horse. We called him black beauty, because of the book black beauty. The only problem, he was a mean son of a gun. Always trying to rub me off on trees. But taking care of a horse teaches you responsibility and work ethic. Congrats on the new member of the farm. :-)
Nice place . I think you should consider being a horse boarding place . You would need to get to know the people around you to see if they would allow riders to ride along the edge of the fields on their land. I hope you get two more horses for the older kids to ride and perhaps one more so all who can ride will ride together. The happiest time of my life was when I had a horse and would ride and take so many classes. Got pretty good .
Gosh.... So many things to chime in on. Very good stall for having a foal. Mount cameras in the beams to keep them out of there when the foal is born. No need to ride the horse. Have the youngster walk her around the pasture five rounds a day. Walk from both sides. Have her keep her elbow out at 90 degrees to assure her foot does not get crushed like pate. Walk the horse around the pasture/padolk with the kid on top with no saddle or bridle as much as you can manage. The kid gets balance and will thank me twenty years from now. Every bodies but gets fit but the horses is the one that counts.. Boats and horses are quite close. Don't wrap any rope or line around your hand or arm. The girth is too short. Never have the buckle where it can pinch the flank of the horse. Remember you have already met mister Haney from Green Acres. Unless you have figured it out yet... he or she or whatever they call themselves today are right there with a goal of fleecing you. Whenever opening a door to a barn closed for a while stand back as it opens. Anything could be in there.. Buy the girl a nice 15 hand well trained Morgan Mare with good lessons. Get a couple real pitchforks, made of mettle. Mow your own land. Love your videos... be careful.
She looks happy!
