SIndre is a legend in the open source world. He would create useful projects then hand them off to whoever wanted to help out. I had no idea he's been cooking on Mac apps like this.
Worth it! Alt-Tab now works properly (unminimize). Delete deletes. Open files with Return key. A new plain text file here. These are my favorites. One odd thing though is when cutting a file the item doesn't disappear, but you are notified (optionally) with a beep that it's on the clipboard.
I understand the purpose of this app, but I am philosophically opposed to relying on it as a crutch. Just wait until Apple breaks it and it stops working -OR- you have to jump on someone else’s MAC for a work meeting where you’re projecting, can you imagine how silly you’ll look when you can’t figure anything out without your SHOULD-HAVE-LEARNED-IT Crutch-App ?!!?!
What’s your solution for the “super key”? Do you physically press the 3 modifier keys simultaneously, or do you have like the Caps Lock set to act as a single key that presses all three? I heard some people do that and I’m interested, but haven’t yet looked it up how to do it
Yes, I’m a really big fan of Hyperkey! You can also do the same thing (and a lot more) with Karabiner-Elements, but I switched back to Hyperkey because Karabiner was way more than I needed

Have been using it for a while now. Windows is just far, far superior than MacOS ever will be. Same is with Android. And this is coming from someone who has owned and used [still use] a ton of Apple for almost 20 years at this point.
You can cut-paste on Mac by doing: Cmd + C to copy, then Cmd + Opt + V.
Beat me to it was gonna write that
It works for me without adding in "opt". I copy and paste files all the time. Hmmm.
@@kennygioia7184 cmd+c is copy cmd+opt+v moves the file to the new location so it is basically a cut paste not copy paste
Came to say this as well.
@@aiham_awd Gotcha. I only use it for copy and paste. Thanks.

Dude theres so much in this app i wonder why apple hasnt added it, super simple stuff (the app switch to reveal minimized apps for example)
Thanks! From where you got that wallpaper ?
I have just installed Zen. It seems very efficient and like that it relies on Gecko.
What are you using for the smooth cursor animations and the visual keylogger?
LOVE Sindre!
holding the option while releasing alt tab on a minimized up, unminimizes it.
aerospace is cool tiling window manager too
Sindre is awesome.

Hold up! what screen recorder are you using, that looks sliiccck!

There is a utility called hyperkey which lets you use the capslock key for assigning keyboard shortcuts

Wallpaper? I'd love to make an inverse version of it (dark mode).
I can cut and paste files without this. Not sure why.
Ctrl option command is called the 'meh' key and shift ctrl option command is 'hyper' key
1:36 This is annoying pressing enter to rename makes more sense lol
And you can open move up or down the hierarchy and eventually open files with cmd + up or down arrow.
Why pay 6 dollars when all of these features can be done for free?
Why buy food or coffee outside of your house when you can make it at home for much cheaper?

This video was redundant and unnecessary
