Some corrections: the Red Sea rift won't close, instead it'll widen, separating the Arabian plate from African. Also this rift will open further north, from Akaba up to Sea of Galilee or even the Qaraoun lake. Another rift should open up from the Aden Bay via lakes Albert, Edouard and Kivu up to Malawi lake or even Malombe, forcing the East African plate into existence. The third rift must open from the Baikal lake, extending westwards to Huvsgul and eastwards up to Ayan bay of the Okhotskoe sea.
