Amisha Don't worry CPA US is an excellent course. I have worked in a Big 4 and an investment bank. Very few CAs get the opportunity to work in both. No one course is better than the other. It's the professional doing the course that matters. Don't look back just go for it. People will criticize even if you choose CA saying "It's difficult you won't be able to clear". Sir I was preparing for CS but I failed executive 3 times because i had not studied anything. Currently working as an Audit Analyst. Thinking to pursue CPA instead of continuing CS because now it has Pre tests and so much time it will take. Also for CPA i been suggested to do a brudge course of 2yrs along with which I can do CPA . .but I am worried if the job opportunities and my passing probabilities..I choose CS earlier because I thought I am bad at maths accounts etc. I am anxious about job opportunities for a person who only did a CPA I am assuming they will mostly be complete night shifts ( grave yard shifts) also will I be able to perform the same at job as a CPA or not beacuse the work after CPA is like a CA right..how will I manage to learn that in a very short time...which CA students take multiple attempts....will work of a CPA be relativley easier than a CA..also shifts will be night

You should be specific about which country’s CPA. For example, CPA Australia has 6 exams plus 3 year work experience required, not 4 exams and 1 year experience as you mentioned.
If that is your objective it's always better to do a local Accounting degree of Canada. However, for exams you will have to visit Canada. There is another route, you can complete ACCA or CPA USA. Both has Agreement with CPA Canada and the exams can be given in India. Later you can use the MRA or MOU to become CPA Canada.
So,as it is being directed by you. So it's my request to you to express upon the idea of job scope scenario prevailing in India for CPA qualified professional.

HF7 As far as I know cpa requires 150 hours of training. The ACCA qualification not only matches but surpasses the CPA qualification. So I’m pretty sure that we can peruse cpa after clearing bcom and ACCA

If you are pursuing CMA US alongwith with B.com. You can apply in Middle east right after you qualify both. You can pursue CPA US alongwith your Job as well. However, it's up to you. Without a job commitment you will be able to complete CPA easily. So your plan is also good.

They have study material providers like Wiley , Becker, etc mentioned on their website. You can evaluate and buy them directly from their website. There are a lot of distributors for physical copies in India as well.
Even CA alone doesn't help nowadays. Because of heavy competition you should hold at least 2 qualifications. You can get a job as CPA alone but I recommend doing CA, ACCA or some other qualification alongwith it for better prospects in India.
