LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics: Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood People live in fear, covered in mud Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters There is a thousand, a thousand of evils Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall Reincarnation, wait for your call Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for sisters Morning star and dying moon Into the Gates of Hell we march Mighty soul, let there be hope Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight? But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for Only have one thing on our mind Facing the fate, holy war Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty We are the metal warriors Fighting the darkness for brothers Shining blade and burning heart Into the Gates of Hell we march Immortal soul, let there be light Into the Eye of Heaven Eagles at a holy war Fly higher than the sun We are one for all and all for one forevermore What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight? But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for Only have one thing on our mind Facing the fate, holy war ----- lyrics: LOVEBITES music: Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami)
These ladies are the pinnacle of metal. In my 62 year old opinion, there has never been a group of individuals that tick every single box as far a their music is concerned. By that I mean that not only do they compose really well constructed songs, with equally well constructed solos, but they play them flawlessly. Not every now and then…but every single time. Their synchronisation is almost quantum mechanics, and they have no weak link. There are no sub standard tracks (and we’re up to approximately 50 already). What is more, their attitude, both on and off stage is exemplary. They enjoy what they do, and they don’t hide that fact. Their lyrics are a complete reversal of the usual type of metal lyrics. Positive and uplifting, and it’s infectious. As you will come to realise as you react to more live performances, this IS the most “accurate” live band there has ever been. It’s often said, and I tend to agree, that they actually sound better, sonically, live, than in the studio, and their live production and post production teams are obviously as talented as the band.
Who would have thought that the best guitar duo you have ever seen in your life comes from a pair of petite Japanese female musicians. Midori and Miyako are phenomenal. They do this in EVERY song. If you love awesome guitar work then Lovebites is the #1 band in the world. Seriously, they are. And this isn't a slight about the other three band members, Asami, Haruna and Miho who are just as amazing too.
This song is one of the more popular first reactor videos. You did Thunder Vengeance first. In this song the solo run had both individual solos and dual harmonizing whereas in Thunder Vengeance, Midori (on the left) did the first solo and Miyako (on the right) followed later on. This is my favorite band after 50+ years of listening to metal, and in all the live shows I've seen I think Lovebites are the best, practically flawless. This is a group of elite talent, and in all my years of listening to metal I cannot think of a better guitar duo than Miyako & Midori. For the thrashiest song try Break the Wall from this same concert. For what I believe is their most epic solo run, try the music video for When Destinies Align. When it comes to live reactions, I suggest sticking to this concert or the Ride for Vengeance one. Nice reaction.
Midori (blonde lead) queen of shred, Miyako (dark-haired lead), more classic (not sure that's the right word) solos, but make no mistake, Miyako shreds when she wants to. Haruna is an absolute beast on drums, Asami absolutely belts those vocals. Miho is sick bassist, unfortunately, left the band. You love their solos, check out... Signs of Deliverance live - wait for the red lights Scream for me live - absolute solo / shred fest!
Lovebites have a very deep and excellent catalog of songs. All of their live concert performances are well produced and you’ll enjoy them all. The only ones to avoid are any labeled Bloodstock because the local sound engineers did an atrocious job of recording them. Their performance of Scream for Me is exceptional in that there is a guitar duel during the last minute and a half that will blow you away. Buckle up for that one!
Super ! Next please : Break The Wall or Awakening / Hammer Of Wrath live. Andy Helms sent you the relevant links. Use it. These are two stunning live performances from Lovebites. (Don't just pay attention to the RUclips views, with Lovebites this has nothing to do with the popularity of the individual songs)
I know this was not your first Lovebites reaction, but welcome to the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Some background: They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and soul of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the greatest European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands. The whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed most of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics. They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. This is one of their usual first songs for reactors, and rightly so--you get a good sense of the band. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like a demon). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band." Here are more clips you should check out: Their most recently posted live clips, “Set the World on Fire” ruclips.net/video/99zsH6iG_6c/видео.html and “Don’t Bite the Dust” ruclips.net/video/oHnKGEj1CMc/видео.html, which are both from their recently released concert DVD “Heavy Metal Never Dies”. "Edge of the World" and "We the United", back to back: ruclips.net/video/sl0-U-ykJCU/видео.html They form an incredible journey from darkness and despair to light and hope. Also, “Empty Daydream”, which starts as a ballad and becomes a real rocker: ruclips.net/video/lXh_uMM94jU/видео.html. Miyako is also a professional-level concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. If you want to see what she can do on the piano, watch “Swan Song” WITH the prelude, which is Chopin’s “Revolutionary Etude”. Miyako wrote “Swan Song” using elements from several classical pieces including the Etude. This link should work: ruclips.net/video/WBhtqgiXEA4/видео.html. For a thrasher with heavy Slayer and Metallica vibes, “Break the Wall” ruclips.net/video/G021aP2ao6Y/видео.html includes two gorgeous and completely contrasting solos by M&M. For a heart-stopping ballad, “Epilogue” ruclips.net/video/1ynnXDfEnnY/видео.html (this includes a second song, your choice whether or not to react to both) Finally, while you will sometimes hear you should only react to live clips, actually their MV’s are epic and worth seeing. Here are four of the most spectacular: "Shadowmaker" ruclips.net/video/Brmoln5Gxus/видео.html This is the song that blew up and melted faces all over the world "When Destinies Align" ruclips.net/video/hLFelI93VkM/видео.html "Glory to the World" ruclips.net/video/-wJtD2XEXH4/видео.html "Winds of Transylvania" ruclips.net/video/HsE4Ub_Pjh8/видео.html. You'll get lots of suggestions, just one thing: don't bother with Bloodstock footage, the sound quality is poor. Best to take suggestions with actual links. Also, you can’t go wrong with any of their official clips. Welcome to the Wolf-Pack!
All female Japanese Metal Bands, LOVEBITES, NEMOPHILA(live streaming from Whisky A Go Go Hollywood live show), BAND-MAID(USA tours October 2022), HANABIE, TRIDENT-JAPAN, ASTERISM(female guitarist) will make your jaw drooped, check all of them bro...
LOVEBITES is incapable of giving nothing but flawless live performances. it helps that they are all incredible musicians but their technicality and synchronicity put them on top. the practice required to be this tight as a band is unimaginable to me. they nail it every time - for more amazing guitar work 'set the world on fire' and 'when destinies align' are 2 of their best. but you will want to see everything they do as you will be saying over and over - " this might be my favorite LOVEBITES song "
The difference between the two versions (2020 vs 2021) the 2020 version is an official video uploaded by LOVEBITES and their label and the views help the band directly and may be less likely to be copyrighted vs the 2021 version witch are uploaded illegally by RUclipsrs not affiliated with the band and those videos tend to get copyrighted more and don’t always stay on RUclips (I’m not saying to not react to unofficial videos because there are some great songs to react to) but other than that these ladies will never disappoint even their studio music is great but they are a band ment to be seen live 🤘
Thanks for the reaction I can assure you that all LOVEBITES live performances are perfect, just amazing to watch, the speed and precision they have is out of this world, heavy metal played to perfection. I recommend for the next Set the World on fire ruclips.net/video/99zsH6iG_6c/видео.html
" M & M, " my favorite Guitar Goddesses, Midori ( blonde ) & Miyako. Midori is known as the, " Crazy Shredder " & Miyako is " The Golden Touch " you'll soon discover why.❤🎙🎸🎹🥁😎👌
" ....another one?...." 😆 Oh yeah - welcome to the reality of LOVEBITES. Most metal bands have one good guitarist. This band have 2 great guitarists. Not to mention a great vocalist, drummer and bassist.
You've been warned. Now got bitten by them. Lovebites got many songs performed like that, called power metal, thrash metal progressive metal. fast drum, running bass line, belting high note vocal, crazy harmonised guitar shredding. They are expert of that. More reaction to them for experiance. Great reaction 👍👍👍🤘🤘🤘💓

LOVEBITES - Holy War lyrics:
Look at those black clouds, it’s going to rain blood
People live in fear, covered in mud
Singing oh Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
There is a thousand, a thousand of evils
Hush, do not wake up Satan’s devils
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
Kingdom of Heaven, never shall we fall
Reincarnation, wait for your call
Singing oh, Gloria to change the prophecy
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for sisters
Morning star and dying moon
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Mighty soul, let there be hope
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
Stand up in the name of the God of heavy metal
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war
Singing Hallelujah to save our majesty
We are the metal warriors
Fighting the darkness for brothers
Shining blade and burning heart
Into the Gates of Hell we march
Immortal soul, let there be light
Into the Eye of Heaven
Eagles at a holy war
Fly higher than the sun
We are one for all and all for one forevermore
What do we live for? What do we fight for, tonight?
But the world is beautiful, worth fighting for
Only have one thing on our mind
Facing the fate, holy war

@@christopherturner6989 right - it's pretty much ' just name any song". and for guitar work 'scream for me' deserves an honorable mention
