@@SeguraCine That is a very good question and one that everyone will have their own personal preference. Myself If i was to recommend, and depending on locatin of filming, a 35mm on Full frame or a 23mm on APS-C. With aperture around F2.8 just to make sure i am covered for low light situations. Now frame rate is really decided upon what country you live in, 60/30fps for U.S or 50/25fps rest of world. As I live in UK i usually use 25fps, unless I am going to slow down the footage in post, in which case I may raise it too 50fps or even 100fps. Hope this helps
Hey, dont give up, you will get it, after a few goes you will get it down to under a minute and once the gimbal is set up, as long as you dont change lenses, it is ready to go. I can balance a gimbal in under 30secs now. You will get it!
Is it possible to use quick release plate for this gimbal? I was thinking of buying the IFOOTAGE Quick Release plate, or something similar, but I don't know if it fits.
IDK? I can set up my Gitzo G1325 tripod, place my Sachtler FSB-8 on it, place my a6700 camera and SEL200600G lens on-board. Then, balance the rig and start shooting in 3 minutes. This is all done at a leisurely pace. If I were hurrying, it would be faster. So, 5 minutes is kinda long.

@@TheCameraManReviews yo uso el 50p en spain
@@SeguraCine Yeah that is it, Broadcast TV in Spain will be 25fps, so you have the option to slow down your footage by 50%

Thanks for the vid - is it normal to feel a little jiggle on the gimbal once balanced?
emmm, not really, it should be pretty smooth.
@ ah! Once I got it balanced and turned on it disappeared
this video is EXCELLENT - just got my cinepeer and this is SOOOOOOO helpful - excellent!
Are all camera gimbals this difficult? I’m new to videography on an actual camera but this makes me really want to send it back

@ I finally got it to balance (somewhat)! Thanks for your tutorial and encouragement

better to use the original quick release plate.
I have seen this video a million times
I have such a hard time doing this takes hours :(
Hours? it should take minutes.
hol up - do you really have to go through this every single time you set up or is this more like.. optimal best results?
@CACOE_ no, u would only set it up once to the camera you are using. If u swap cameras or lens then u would need to readjust.
@@TheCameraManReviews cool, good to know, I’ve just bought one and didn’t realise setup was quite as involved as this, does make sense though
Thank you!!
Thanks 🙏 bless you

But can you do it whilst explaining how to do it and filming it?
@@TheCameraManReviews I didn't know that was part of the criteria?
