But you guys did a good job. It's very labor intensive and I know how heavy pulling up the pressure line is when it's full not easy. How do you clean the compactor where 90 percent of the accumulation is? I foam it to soften it then I use dry wall scrapper blades to remove the build up and bag it so it doesn't go down the drain. Then I wash off the equipment. How do you guys do it?

All that work with spinning nozzles and hot water still can't clean the inside of the chute all that well. If you look at the photos you can still see the residue on the chute walls. Becuse you can't hit or touch the inner chute walls with a turbo nozzle or figure 8 nozzle there's no way to get the metal back to metal. I'd suggest if your serious about trying to achieve that the best way to do that is to go the night before the cleaning and foam the inside of the chute with a strong degreaser and get a proper foaming gun and soak the chute with it from top to bottom. The upper floors are usually just covered in dust as you go lower towards the bottom fllord the chute gets progressively dirtier from the bags opening on the way down and on the first couple floor the splatter effect is much greater on the walls of the chute when the bags it amd explode at the bottom and spray up and around. Unless you can hei the walls directly with your pressure gun with a turbo nozzle your residue will not completely go away.
What your doing is a as good of a job as Is possible. The only tip would be to go the night before and soak amd foam it. Then the next day the build up will be softer and soft enough for you to get the before and afters your looking for.
I've been cleaning garbage chute for 30 years in Florida and Toronto.

Hi Aaron, how much would you charge an 18 floor building to clean the trash chute? It goes by the floor or by ft?

@@oryafinkel4275 I charge the same price across the board. In Canada I charge 795 plus tax
When I was in the states doing it I was charging almost double that 20 plus years ago.
