I like both Actually 1D just gives me sweet vibe and they have really cool voices🙂❤ but I think exo have harder songs for vocals✨ and they can dance while singing. it's really hard to perform that good😄 Also their songs are more diverse🌟

If we're talking about vocals, the main vocalists (Baekhyun and Chen) of EXO had only been in the agency for 4 months before their debut while 1D had mentoring in XFactor before debut. As for popularity, during 2012 the world wasn't really open to kpop so it's understandable why EXO didn't get much exposure. Not against your opinion and choice. Just telling you the correct info :) I loved 1D first as well ❤️
