    Thankx much. While my 15 metre house is in parts. I've purchased a micro- greenhouse. To temporarily replace it.
    By attaching it to the side of my house. I get the benefits of venting the heat into the living room. So an additional cost is a thermostat controlled fan. The home heating system keeps the greenhouse from freezing.
    I can see several of your ideas being put to use. Except for the poured concrete, instead I will use pavers.

      I used pavers myself

    Thanks for the suggestion to protect the greenhouse from high winds. You make a good point: "If the greenhouse doesn't survive, guess what happens to your plants inside". LOL

    I bought mine prefab 140x140cm walk in greenhouse WITH integrated mesh shelves on both sides, zip-door & mesh-vent window opposite the door that can be zipped close just for ~60€ in Lidl this year.
    Metal hollow tubes with very solid plastic connectors, rather thick plastic cover, no screws.
    It sits on paved veranda under the balcony without anchors (pots are heavy enough, though, anchors are included in a package); anyway, I use it only for overwintering my succulents and some other sensitive to cold plants. I just de-assemble it in summer into its box for storage 😜
    (It occasionally gets down to -5°C at night here; last winter we got -12°C sometimes, everything survived in more flimsy smaller greenhouse with thinner cover 😄)

    I love your videos! You help people create more options in agriculture. If you do Patreon, let me know. These RUclips royalties are inadequate. Thank you for taking the time to make this.

    Great video! Very informative. I have a question. I know this video is over 2 years old. Prices for things are through the roof. The inflatable blower fan you are suggesting. will it work on a 10x20x7 foot green house? how much CFM is sufficient?
    Cheers

    Can you bring up ground temperatures for instance I’ll be moving from Miami Florida to southwest Georgia I want to plant in ground what will I be looking at?

    • @SimpleTek
      @SimpleTek  3 года назад +3

      if you bury styrofoam or aircrete sheets 2-3 feet deep in the ground around the base you'll keep your ground temperatures inside the greenhouse higher
