- A short waltz made in FL Studio 21 using a bunch of synths !!
i thought it would be fun to try making something with acoustic instruments, and then to change everything to a bunch of serum instances :)

I feel like part of what makes you a really good artist is your ability to not have to rely on structure among other things. It’s great that you can still get your music to sound good without it. But at the same time, learning to apply it like this is also helping you to make different or even better songs :0

I often rely on a waltz-y blueprint for the structure of most of the music I make, but it ends up feeling super monotonous that way 😭

I absolutely love this song! Gives off Erik Satie gymnopedie vibes. You’re right, the structure you added really makes it feel like a full piece of music, and I really like how the tempo keeps slowing down and picking up pretty unexpectedly. Makes me want to learn this on piano…

This one is just son nostalgic and calm that I can't stop hearing it
Nice! for song structure, it may sound odd, but studying pop music will really help. The songs are designed to be catchy and flow well. Studying the structure makes it pretty easy to boom bam bap get everything in place. A great band to study for it is Periphery. They have like 20 minute songs but each part flows well and feels like a cohesive piece rather than a random throw around of parts.
You are turning the random tunes i make up in my head that trail off until they start sounding weird into cool songs that don't trail off and stay sounding cool

I thought I found a new artist. Realized that all my songs saved sounded similar and then finally discovered. They were all made by Azali, truly the most underrated artist out there.
these synths sound particularly good for some reason, great composition once again!

In my humble opinion, these instruments sound like they’re not that kind of instrument. The synth piano sounds like a futuristic accordion, and the synth violin sounds like a futuristic woodwind. Besides that, I think the composition here is decently solid! I love the sectioning between the melodies, first by the synth piano, then the synth violin after. Good stuff, hope to see more bangers! 🤍
