Isaiah 53:10 “Yet it was the will of the LORD (YHWH) to crush him..” Yes, it is God’s will to kill (not murder) him. It was His redemptive plan that a perfect Saviour must die to pay for the penalty of our sins. Either Jesus paid the punishment of your sins, or you will pay it in hell.

How to interpret Scriptures? From “Biblical doctrine” by John MacArthur and Richard Mayhue.
5 interpretive principles:
1. Literal principle- Scripture should be understood in its literal, natural and normal sense.
2. Historical principle- a passage should be interpreted in its historical context.
3. Grammatical principle- this task requires an understanding of the basic grammatical structure of each sentence in the original languages.
4. Synthetic principle- the analogia scriptura, meaning Scripture should be its own interpreter.
5. Clarity principle- clearer portion should be employed to interpret the less clear.
