Use DeltaPoint Pro pin set 2 front pins, Shield pin set 3 rear pins, and screw kit 1A(RMR, SRO; #6-32 9.13mm) that comes with the Echelon. Fits perfect with no light gap.
I tried the stock screws that came with the SCS. And I tightened to the point where the tool flexes. At this point I didn’t want to strip an anything so I used the SRO screws. Which are the 9.13 mm. Works like a charm.
My scs wiggles in the front after I tighten down the screw using shield rear pins but does not wiggle with delta point pro rear pins, which gives me the gap and I can't zero it. Then I realize the provided screws from scs are too long and they couldn't be screwed all the way down. I had to trim the screws with file.
DO NOT follow this video’s instructions. The screws are too long and will put pressure on your extractor spring which can cause malfunction or damage to your spring. To mount a SCS 320 to an echelon, use the provided shield pins and order the swampfox red dot screw set. Use the M4x.07, 8.6mm length, 5mm diameter, T10 head screws. Apply a THIN layer of blue loctite to the threads, then use a torque wrench to tighten the screws to specs (10-15 lbs). This is the way.

Great video, I just watched this as I added my SCS 320 to my Echelon!

Absolutely right, his way I still had wiggle, you have an issue zeroing it?
Thank you Nathan! Perfect fit. Follow this guys works!

Great video. Made it very easy to install this optic on my wife's Echelon. I used pin set #2 and had no gaps after it was tightened down.
Sweet!
I had a SCS 320 laying around after selling my Sigs. whenI picked up a Walther PDP I requested the DPP plat from Walther and it was an easy install.

Have the same problem
Best part of video is when you “lost” and “found” your gun 😂😂😂
Subbed just for that
Lmao. Thanks for the sub!
🤙🏼
Thank you! Super helpful. Especially, the tip on Pin Set 3. 👍🏽👍🏽
Your welcome!
The pre-installed threadlock is probably making the screws difficult, as well.
Yep for sure
Where can I get a new set of screws
I have a SCS MP2 sitting around. Will this idea work as well on my Echelon?????
No the mp2 works on the MP 2.0 only
When I go to websites for the SCS 320 are all the numbers the same on the red dot?

We’ve not had any problems at all with using the stock scs 320 screws
@@freedomgorilla1 I’m glad it’s working for you, but “crank it down as hard as you can” is never the answer.
Any malfunctions shooting with those oem screws? Some say they might be to and bottom out.
Not for me
@@freedomgorilla1 Still no problems at this time?
Great video! Thank you!
Where did you get the delta point screws
These are the screws that come with the optic
I didn't see the green dot at all when you held the gun up...
How do you like it so far? I’m torn between this and the 507c or 509t
The Scs 320 is real nice. It’s set and forget
@@freedomgorilla1 yea that’s what I’m thinking it’s just that simple
Whats with the gloves
Can you just use pin set 3 for the front and back?
Yes
So did it cycle fine and everything?
Yep!
Would I need those pins 2 to place on my p226 if I wanted to get this optic?
No it will make contact with the front and rear of your slide
Don't require a torque wrench?
You can if you want. I many times just torque it down by hand evenly on both sides
I got a 407a during blk Friday guess it’s not made anymore
Only at PSA
Where do you get these pins?
The pins come with the gun
What? Really? I just bought the echelon and never got any pins.
@@Kgoutdoorwas yours used? I just picked mine up today and got all the pins with the gun
I didn’t even use any pins and it went on perfect. No gap.
You want to use pins. They align the optic and absorb recoil
Lmao 😂 "optic sucks, broke my face"
Put the dot on the irons. Sighted. Laser boresights are a waste of money
The cuts on the slide and red dot are like it was meant to be.
Agreed. Looks better on the Springfield than the sig it was designed for
It would be easier to handle the pins if you were not wearing those yellow gloves! 🙄....just sayin!
I just have my gun shop smithy install (for free). I don’t want to hassle with all this pin and screw business
Does the echelon came with those front and rear sights ?? 🫣
Yea it does
