The reason people use the raised sticks is because it increases the travel distance from one side to the other, so if you move your thumb like a mm with the raised stick it won't move as far as if you did the same with the lowered one. The idea is basically more precise movement
The reason why people would like to add height to their sticks is purely for aim. With bigger sticks Micro movements are much easier and it just overall gives you more control.
I have that dual charging station, the controller light turns red when you charge the controller at around 70% and below but stays blue if it's above or at 80%
I have used those little analog stick attachments. The silicone ones slip off too easy. I have a hard plastic one with a rubber top. They work ok, depends on the game and how hard you are on the sticks. Because they will fly off in games like Madden, when you try to use the right Analog stick. I have two different heights and the short one, the glue keeping the rubber top on failed and it doesn’t sit on the base very firmly. It’s something you would have to try to see if your liked it. And they are so cheap that you don’t lose much if you buy them and don’t like them.

Small note I own the charger that he bought and it scratches your touch bar super bad. Both of my DualShock 4S have an area on the touch bar where you can literally see the outline of the area where the charger holds on to and it is so annoying not to mention the top one broke after like a month of use

I bought a $25 pair of (USB) SADES Spirit Wolf 7.1 Headset 4 months shy of 3 years ago for my PS4 and they still work great. The fake leather around the speakers has peeled a bit, revealing the fabric that was attached to the leather. I've dropped them more than 20 times on a hard floor by stepping on the cord as I stood up, and it still works fine and comfortable.

I like the lighbar covers because even on dim it's brighter than I like in the dark without them and I don't play vr games so the bar isn't a feature I personally use anyway. The triggers were useful on ds3 controllers because I constantly fast forward movies whenever I set my controller down but the new trigger shape doesn't have that problem.
I have the Sunset Orange, Berry Blue, and yellow Death Stranding controllers. I use the thumbstick covers so I don't ruin the actual rubber on the analogs. Mine are cat paws and feel very good, extra grippy, and i don't have to worry about my nails knicking the original analog sticks. When you see controllers with worn out analog tops, especially collectible controllers, you'll get it.
