- The BRAND NEW Avios Super Tucano from @HobbyKingOfficial is the easiest flying RC Warbird I have flown to date. And if you watched the stall testing.. it comes close to one of the best flying RC Airplanes ever! I believe the power system compliments the size perfect and excited to do a follow up review after flying it some more when the release date is closer! Until than keep a eye out for the release date!

Great flight Jay, glad to see you are liking our brand new bird so much. As Jay mentioned the Super Tucano is not available yet, we gave him a pre-production sample when we hung out at Nall last week. Pre-order will be coming in the following weeks with stock arriving in all our regional warehouses between 6-8 weeks from now.

I kept seeing this at Nall and it was jaw dropping. I couldn’t stop watching it fly.

I appreciate that HK continues to bring out models from aircraft that haven't received as much attention. I'm still hoping for an IL-2 or a Do-335 from you guys at some point in the future!
Just so you know HobbyKing, I'm new to the hobby, and I'm Defiitely gonna buy this! Been practing lately on my c182 skylane, and I think I'm ready to take things to the next level! 🎉❤
I really like how this has foam blocks behind the battery so if the straps let loose the plane doesnt become unflyable. If the straps let loose on some of my planes, the battery pukes out the back and can unplug itself or make it so tailheavy you cant control it. The stalls are insane too, usually warbirds and f18s just hit the ground.
I will definitely get one. I've had good luck over the last 3 years with HK, pleased to see they are stepping up and out of the comfort zone. Giving us enthusiasts something different.
That HK Super Tucano is truly a show stopper! And it flies wonderful.
Definitely will not be skipping this one! HobbyKing is killing it with these new models, super tucano, 182, mini efxtra! I wonder what’s next?

Joseph Kovacs was inspired by the superb Falco aircraft of Italian aeronautical designer Stelio Frati. The Falco famously stalled without dropping a wing. Kovacs' Embraer Tucano possessed a similar flat underside and resulting outstanding ground affect response. Cool to see these Frati aircraft characteristics in a model years later.

Man this aircraft reminds me of the Red FMS Pilatus PC-21 which has that same propeller but is a real dog on a 4S but with a better HK power combo and livery. Awesome video as always Jay and great filming too!
Good looking plane
Front engine cowl looks a bit oddly shaped but understood it is a turbo prop but I do like the plane and avios does a nice job on scale and fit and finish. I have just 2 avios hobbyking airplanes the v1 Hu 16 albatross and the beachcraft king twin and love them both can't take my eyes off of them. Great video.
Cool plane. Great to see hk. Back up and going again. I just got the albatros, awesome plane. Really like your channel and showing your sticks. Maybe talk about the history of the plane in real life. I never seen one.

What a great aircraft. Excited to see something new. However, I think someone should do a T6B Texan II. I mean, it would be a top seller considering both the USAF and Navy use them as primary trainers.
I've always wondered why such an amazing looking and flying plane was never released by any of the RC companies in this class. This for me is a dream come true. I can't wait on the pre order. I don't care if the wife gets upset. I'll happily sleep on the couch with this in my arms.... 😆

That thing is beautiful.. I am actually just about to get back into the hobby. Sadly all my radio gear is out of date being about 15-20 years old. That and a mouse decided to eat my favorite plane. This thing is likely going to be on my short list..

A-29 super tucano has a nice flight this aircraft fly very well in Brazil is very common to see this plane in the hobbie, to be honest I have one a-29 from Brazilian smoke squad, I love they flight.

How hard is it to take the wing on and off for transport?

Very good review Jay. I like the plane but would do a re-paint to a even cooler livery. Just have to be different. I will buy this one on your word and demonstrate. Someday perhaps if you want to get together and fly I may come to Long Island or you to the Adirondak's on vacation and we can get together and Float fly.

Multiplex makes a smaller less scale looking one that i have. It is the best flyer in my hangar! This is really something different and on my wish list. Unfortunately when this reaches our shores in South Africa it will be way above my pay grade with shipping,

It didn’t tip stall because your Port/Starboard CG is centered on the X axis of the aircraft.

Appreciate you, no gyro. I flew it in some heavy winds too. Really doesn’t need one. Unless you want self leveling!
It would be great if HK would re-release planes like the Carl Goldberg Tiger II, GreatPlanes RV4 and Ultra Sport, Deuces Wild and lots of others. (all about 1,4 - 1,6m wingspan and of course Balsa and ply).

I am a "scale junkie" and for a great looking model...my question is for a model this big.......will it have gear doors on the nose gear and inner doors on the mains?
I just did some research....It doesn;t have inner gear doors on the mains....My mistake.......Lets hope it is a reasonable price in Australia.
