- Did you think I would leave you crying
When there's room on my horse for two
Climb up dear Tommy, don't be dying
I can go just as fast with two
When we grow up we'll both be soldiers
And our horses will not be toys
And I wonder if we'll remember
When we were two little boys
this always breaks my heart
i love how no one interrupts spud.
Classic mate 😪
Rewatched Trainspotting in the cinema last week, as they were giving it a screening following 4K remastering. This scene gave me a lump in my throat. Excellent performances.
Makes me tear up every time. What an amazing film
This reminds me of a childhood friend who got lost, rest easy buddy I love you.
❤
Watching trainspotting my favourite film of all time
Gets me every time. So sad.
Gosh this always made me sob my heart out 😭 spud is not the greatest singer in the world but somehow this sounds amazing, really touching, nostalgic and downright beautiful ❤
Not sure why but just lately I’ve been hooked on this scene, the film that just keeps on giving
To Tommy!
Two little boys had two little toys
Each had a wooden horse
Gaily they played each summer's day
Warriors both of course
One little chap then had a mishap
Broke off his horse's head
Wept for his toy then cried with joy
As his young playmate said
Did you think I would leave you crying
When there's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Jack and don't be crying
I can go just as fast with two
When we grow up we'll both be soldiers
And our horses will not be toys
And I wonder if we'll remember
When we were two little boys
Long years had passed, war came so fast
Bravely they marched away
Cannon roared loud, and in the mad crowd
Wounded and dying lay
Up goes a shout, a horse dashes out
Out from the ranks so blue
Gallops away to where Joe lay
Then came a voice he knew
Did you think I would leave you dying
When there's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Joe, we'll soon be flying
I can go just as fast with two
Did you say Joe I'm all a-tremble
Perhaps it's the battle's noise
But I think it's that I remember
When we were two little boys
Do you think I would leave you dying
There's room on my horse for two
Climb up here Joe, we'll soon by flying
Back to the ranks so blue
Can you feel Joe I'm all a tremble
Perhaps it's the battle's noise
But I think it's that I remember
When we were two little boys
Leaves from the vine vibes 😭
Rip Tommy QS
Moving
😢
Choose your Life.
Just “Choose life” is the slogan that used to be on the Wham t-shirts (im sure it was Wham) I’m no being petty honest, apologies if it comes across like that, it’s not intended, personally I would rather someone told me. ✌🏻
@@lyndsaycrawford hello!
choose your life in this case is the slogan of an anti-drug campaign. but its meaning is literal, sometimes I stop to think and spend hours thinking about how much sense it makes.
E i cavalli non saran più trastulli
Rolf Harris also sung this song
Shame Rolf ruined the song with his bad behaviour
the british police ruined Rolf Harris for not being competent
I agree completely but your wording made me laugh out loud through my tears at spuds sing 😂
