- PARASITES, EUGENICS, and lots of failed CATGIRLS. Today in Rimworld, we're gonna be trying out the new Vanilla Expanded Genetics mod, which is an overhaul from the old Genetic Rim mod. This adds all kinds of andromorphic genetic creatures to (accidentally) create and ruin the ecosystem with. Join us as we break an unintended mechanic behind genetic failures and use a massive wall of flesh to take on any number of raiders.

Mr. Kleapster, one should note that this mod has a built-in compatability for "Cosmic Horrors" with fully fleshed-out (no pun intended) genome line. And with this compat in mind, you can, in fact, genetically engineer Muffalo/Star Vampire hybrid. Have fun!

@@valentino9639 Well, Star Vampires despite being absolute ungodly stuff of nightmares actually behave similar to traditional vampires, as in, they need to knock on your door for you to let them in. So just have a chokepoint with sufficiently sturdy door and a conviniently placed bear trap to pleasantly surprise your otherworldly guest as they drop their invisible camouflage and laugh in pleasant surprise as a couple of their tentacles just got severed due to your funny prank!
And then you flank them and gun down this cosmic mockery of a living being

If crashes are a frequent experience in your Rimworld playthroughs, I highly suggest managing your mods with Rimpy. It has helped me salvage many nearly unplayable modlists. Hope it helps!!

My bet btw is the insane amount of effecters being produced by the flies is what was eating your RAM and crashing the game. I may limit their numbers to 50 on the whole map

Ah, that's why my computer keeps crashing even with smaller mod list.
The terraria music caught my attention, but that bit of the Brigador soundtrack when the flesh growths finally started happening is what caught my interest.
Now if only I could cull enough mods off my Rimworld install to even consider trying this... Having TiberiumRim alongside like 400 other mods probably wasn't as good of an idea as I thought.

My vanilla genetics expanded experience: read that tortoise paragons created a really powerful building material, but it takes so long that it's not practical to build a base out of it. *Challenge accepted*... They were right! *Challenge failed*

Will you do Kraltech + VOID? Kraltech has a LOT of broken and dangerous stuff to try out. It adds a lot of mechanoid types and mechanoid bosses to beat and build and another ultra-tech faction that is as, or perhaps stronger than VOID.
