Heya! I would just like to correct myself in some point of the video about school settings.
Stories with school settings are probably one of the most popular tropes in stories- but not all are unoriginal! In fact, everything that's been made has already been done before. But that doesn't mean you should just do the typical love drama school trope- if you want to do the school trope, I suggest you implement something different in it, just to spice it up! Of course, you don't need to follow everything included in this video. This is made to help, you aren't forced to make it exactly how I said so.

Ah yes thank you for clarifying that alphas are not supposed to be bad. As someone whos favorite animal is wolves its just triggering to see them potrayed that way 😞 anyway the video is really helpful! even though I don't make as much movies, its always helpful to have these kinds of videos when you need it!

As an original Gacha Club Movie Creator,seeing your completed work made me really happy.Even though I haven't watched any of your completed work,I was so interested in the clips you've shown,the way you built the atmosphere,the way the characters looked so alive,made me want to watch the creation!I hope you will be able to create some more creations similar to this in the meantime!

I do get your point, I've watched a mini movie that had a setting in a house, basic. But I like the way that they make it. It's not a teen! It's a adult, 1 kid and a boyfriend, I really enjoyed it more than the high school mini movies.

Thank you so much for tips, and the wheel part you did foe the first mini movie example was honestly hilarious. And I do agree how some of the more popular mini movies tend to mostly take place in high school, and the genre is mainly romance and tend to glorify dark topics. Like no offense to romance, but it’s becoming either overused or somewhat toxic with how the writers approach/use it.
Though I do have a question about the story setting. I know there are plenty of other settings out there, but it’s kinda hard for me to find because some of those backgrounds could be copyrighted. How can I find good backgrounds like you use without getting copyrighted?
No problem! And for the story settings, I suggest searching no copyright or just inspect the image closely if it has a watermark or such. Usually below the image if it were copyrighted it would have (ex. stockphotos image. License details) on the lower part of the image to show that it is copyrighted. But sometimes, even if it doesn't have that, just avoid using images with a watermark :)

So I'm just gonna give some tips I like to use:
so make sure everything in story has a point, there's a reason for it. Don't have scenes where they're in..let's say a lesson and nothing happens, and or it has nothing to with story line, just a random scene to make it longer. I feel like people make scene's with antagonist that have nothing to do with the story (specifically with school settings/storys) and are just there because.
Now if you use writing and sports as an example: maybe when you have to write a something, a story or paper you rather plan the entire story before you start writing but maybe when it comes to sports you just naturally can come up with a strategy on the spot, now putting into gacha in to terms maybe you rather write out the beginning, rising action, climax, etc and the script before you start compared to some who rather just come up with it as they go. You would know this if you notice you can start a story but never continue or finish it because you can't move forward, then you probably wanna write it out first. But if you can just start and keep going constantly never running out of ideas you just- don't need to script it.

I’ve always wondered how to make parents, it’s a bit of a struggle for me, since they dress differently and are older than the characters I have, so I don’t know what style their hair should be, or what accessories they should have or even their clothing choice
Well just keep in mind that parents have been through even more experiences than kids have. Some stereotype them (which I do not recommend) as someone who is just there to annoy the children, but I do suggest to give them development as well
For the clothing, it usually depends on the timeline they lived in. Parents usually prefer the music and clothing styles that they were brought up with as kids too. (Sorry if this isn't helpful, feel free to ask questions)

Base them off your own parents + add traits of the world and the character
Making parents is a struggle for some, But some tips I have it make them make simliar hair to the main character, or just make them look the same but not the same.
and another tip, base them of your parents!

another way you can get audio (and i don't endorse piracy but i also totally do) is by going to youtube to mp3 and downloading the sound effects directly from there, works wonders

Question, if I take a scene word for word from another movie but it’s in a different situation, would that be considered copying?
I would say if its only one scene that lasts 10 seconds its more of referencing since its a different situation, still almost copying but it isn't fully. Unless you copy a whole movie blatantly.
