Excellent video, as usual. Just bought the radiator and fan assembly from 1A and will be installing it early next week in an '03 Camry.

When doing a job like this (if you have the intention of keeping the car) why noy not replace all hoses and clamps? And since the system is opened, why not put in a new thermostat at the same time? Pay a little more now but have the coolant system squared away at one time. What do you think?

If it’s not broken don’t fix it

@@lamidsiddque9064 no...while you are in there replace the hoses and possibly the clamps....they are the weak link...cheap insurance...new thermostat is a given as well...unless you enjoy draining coolant more than once

Are there differences between Japan made Camrys and US made Camrys regarding the radiator mount? For example could I use a Denso 221 0506 or 221 0505 radiator for a Japan made Camry?

You also have to start the car and put the heat on to full blast and let it sit for about 10 minutes for circulation through the system. It help get any extra bubbles out.

Since the thermostat is on the bottom hose, does the coolant flow from the bottom of the radiator up to the top? That would be reverse of most cars.

Are radiators same for v6 and the 4cylinder?

Is it the same part number for a manual transmission? I assume you just leave the space for the trans hoses open?

+Jonathan JW Thanks for watching! Correct, if you have a manual transmission, you just leave those fittings alone, no need to plug them etc.

I know theres some slight differences between the 02-04 and the 05-06 but I cant imagine that toyota changed the radiator across the same generation? I could be wrong though

I know it’s an old video but I would be worried about that transmission fluid. If it doesn’t have a lot of miles I would flush that ASAP.
