I know her feeling. It's like you meet your ex and forced to work together on a project. You know how hard it is to be with them but you have to work hard to achieve the goal together. You two are forced to be friends again but you remembers how they hurts you in the past.
In my opinion, jiwon should’ve been the only one of the swans to go en pointe. She’s had the training and her muscles memory will kick in.
A little emotional for Wang Ji won. I can see it on her face how she wants to go back on pointe and experience the joys, excitement and freedom to dance on pointe but she also shows fear and hesitation. I hope through this show/experience she rediscovers that feeling again thats hard to describe.
On the injury. I hope she recovers as quick as possible. Injuries aren't fun. I remember my share of pulled muscle though nothing hurt as much as a "charlie horse" on my left calf as i was on releve. Charlie horse felt like a canon ball was shot between my calf muscle and bone. My teacher was the one who diagnosed it as my calf was hard and she had to massage it. I remember tearing up from the pain. Injuries are "easier" that is quicker to recover when young vs old. Ballet is difficult as it (like other dances) makes you use all muscles even ones not used a lot on daily basis(turnout for example). Jumi and all dancers fighting!
Watching this show makes me miss ballet class, despite me at times disliking the somewhat harder steps/movemtents. I wish I could do it again, especially if a friend would do it with me hehe.
same for me. I did figure skating for quite some time and got to a level that I was jumping doubles and then stopped because of endless injuries. Now whenever I go ice skating with my friends, I always wear my old skating boots and it makes me feel nostalgic.
Same😭
I stopped taking exams after getting knee pain & told that I was loose in areas where others are tight and vice versa. I'm also weaker in certain areas. I have knee pain and long tailbone too. I have a physiotherapist now, but they don't ask me to go through exercises seen in the vid. Could anyone who knows what I need or what kinda therapy it is please tell me?
@@suak.5703 I do Figure Skating mainly but I feel same with ballet.
Quick PSA: in korean the word for pointe shoes is 토슈즈 (to-shu-jeu or pretty much just toe shoes with a korean accent) so can you really blame them for calling them toe shoes in the title? Relax.
And there’s also the fact that approximate translation of “en pointe” from French to English is “on toes”
Ohhhh ok thanks for explaining this! I was triggered but I understand now 😊
oh
I love watching this show because of jiwon!
Dang for not dancing on pointe for 8 years that is impressive I would die its been 5-6 years for me and several pounds later don't think I could do it without blistering.. Also the walking with feet out is a ballerina thing cuz ur feet naturally do that cuz of the shoes... Lol
Blisters come with the trade
Its even more painful cause she didn't break her pointes
that city of stars music tho made me emotional
it's Someone in the crowd tho:)))))
RIP I MEANT LA LA LAND but I forgot the name xD
Someone in the crowd but I know I was like shit why you making me cry
makes me want to see her dance of 8 years ago :((( ♥
Jiwon Noona it must have been hard on you right?... Fighting ! You are a shining star and your talent is so radiant 💖 wishing you all the best
Jiwon wears capezio lol. I know exactly how having an injury is. In year 5 just as i started the pre pro half day programs. My achillies was scraped by metal bicycle tyre. I quit for 2 years as it was really painful. But now i am in year 9 and i started again in 7 and i poped my pointe shoes back on. It may not become my profession but it will forever be my passion.
Jiwon is so damn attractive
She is like that one ballerina thats the perfect one in a ballet class
U know what they say, once a ballerina, always a ballerina
Awww love them !!
OMGG Amazing❤😍
I think she’s not completely over the box, is it just me? I understand she’s not super confident because she’s worried about her injury but if she doesn’t dance properly she could get injured again
EXO WAO Yeah i also felt at times that she wasn't totally over the box, i hope that she doesn't get injured again ! But i also think that it will come back with practicr and confidence
tbh i think she didnt break her shoes in properly because they look pretty stiff
peachy zhen they sounded pretty loud too, she needs to bang them on a brick or something
I suppose how happy Korean audience is. Actresses all former ballerinas show up on TV and perform dance en pointe. Just a simple pas de bourre thrilis me…they all had a past immense in the art of ballet.
Love jiwon's dance sooooo much❤️❤️❤️
Woow!! ❤💕
I remembered the pain I put the pointe shoes in my feet, it was hurt at the first time, however, look myself at the mirror and sudden so beautiful to wore it. 😊
She is very beautiful N gorgeous I really like her N her performance
toe shoes ARE pointe shoes.
in korea they call them toe shoes, stop complaining. the title is correct.
Yeah, its called pointe in some countries but also called toe shoes. I mean... you know about variety of languages right? Or no? Lol 🤔
where can i watch her old performances
I wonder if she bang her shoes to the wall or to the floor first 😂
Soph Reads 😂😂 If she did, I hope she didn’t leave dents in the wall but her poor feet if she didn’t break them in!
I love to see Wang Ji-won in Kdrama 30th but 17th, the way She played violin, And Now I see her with ballet, I am wondering, Is it any relationship with Ballet and Violin? ( May the sense of feel both of them (?)),
Cuz i feel those so 😣, ,,, Do you think ballet and Violin has mutual sense??
Where can i ser her playing violin?
@@catalinag.5111 in her Kdrama "Thirty but seventeen"
