Broadway Railroad Crossing, BNSF 7557 Grain Train North with CREX and SACRT Light Rail, Sacramento

- BNSF northbound grain train on the UP Sacramento Subdivision passing the MoW construction at Broadway around 4:06pm with locomotives BNSF 7557, Citirail CREX 1434, and BNSF 5532 and a Sacramento Regional Transit Blue Line Inbound light rail train to Watt/I-80 Station with SACRT 127 and 110 Siemens Duewag U2A's. The crossing is turned off for the freight track since the activation points havent been reinstalled yet on the new track section in the crossing. It was interesting seeing it activate for the light rail only while the freight train is crossing.

(SACRT) Harmon Cantilever signal on right has an General Signals Type 1 Electronic Bell, 3 pairs of 12x24 inch Harmon Lights with 12 inch General Signals LEDs Lights and Harmon Brackets.

(UPRR) Harmon Cantilever signal on left has 3 pairs of 12x24 inch Harmon Lights with 12 inch Harmon LEDs Lights and Harmon Brackets.
Left Harmon cantilevers shoulder gated mast signal has an NEG Electronic Bell, 1 pair of 12x24 inch Safetran Lights with 12 inch WCH 2nd Generation LEDs Lights, Safetran Brackets, Union Pacific LED Gate Lights, Safetran Counterweight Arm, Safetran Gate Mechanism, and Safetran Base.
(UPRR) Gateless signal on right has an WCH Gen 2 Type 3 Electronic Bell, 2 pairs of 12x24 inch WCH Lights with 12 inch WCH 2nd Generation LEDs Lights, WRRS Brackets, and Harmon Base.

***** Yes, unless the crossing (like this one) is a quiet zone, where train horns can't be used.
+freebrickproductions so, this is a crossing where they normally not use the horn. In many videos from crossings in the USA, they always use the horn.
road must be closed for the work, also look like they are on restrictions for the freight and commuter train
why was the crossing only detecting the metro rail but not the locomotives
The freight track at the crossing is new and wasnt reconnected to the crossing system yet.

Yeah. The crossing activation zones havent been reinstalled on the freight track so the crossing temporarily doesnt activate for that track until they reinstall it and are done with the construction.

Well yeah I get that but why did only one gate close?
They stopped the other one from closing because it would get in the way of equipment.

The freight train isn't on the light rail tracks. It's not dangerous because the street is torn out so it isn't really need for the signals to activate. The trespassers are doing something dangerous. The only reason it came on for the light rail is because SACRTs relay case is still on.
While UPs for their track was turned off due to it being now street across the track.
