Yeah, Quarto put up a good fight, but Mai was better. She's a lot stronger then people give her credit for, sure she's not in the top 3 like Joey, Kaiba, and Yugi, but she's still good and solid number 4, whereas Quarto despite his name isn't 4 as he is below his brother Quniton who himself isn't in the top 3 of Yuma, Kite, and Shark. Plus, Mai's Deck has a lot of versitilty and good ways to get over problematic cards and situations what with Harpie Ladies Pheonix Formation, Grave Arm, Mirror Wall(which even works on Egyptian Gods as I found out during some Deck Testing with Mai's Deck in a previous video), Amazoness Spellcaster, and Amazon Chain Masters effect to steal a card from the opponets Deck.
@@zexalbrony4799 mirror wall would technically work on gods because mirror wall using anime logic would: a) affect the attack akin to magic cylinder rather than the monster itself, hence the attacks/effects themselves being possible to redirect, subdue & avoid b) wouldn't "equip" to the gods like spellbinding circle so it wouldn't fizzle when the attack stat would likely revert to normal in canon c) technically would be a field-based/environmental effect like ground erosion (or shattering axe) and the seal of orichalcos ---- slightly unrelated but if you have mai vs marik at the gates in duel links, marik is implied to only lose to marik if he doesn't use ra's phoenix mode (which would be difficult to stop as mai), which likely would play into the attack-based spell nature of cards like magical dimension in the manga & ragnarok in the anime via phoenix formation or amazoness spellcaster (the latter being temporary)
Awesome 👍😎
Thank you.
Props to Mai for drawing the one card that could save her card of sanctity also respect to quarto your gimmick puppets weren't enough this time

It's gonna be interesting seeing how Mai does against harder foes
@@connellychase573 Indeed. Especially because if you notice the brackets she'll be fighting Shark in the next round.
Oh Mai is in so much trouble sharks way more dangerous than quattro
